Starbucks

The most "No Smiling" coffee place I've been to,is this outlet here at Bedok Mall. The young lady with specs slim built, portrayed a speedy working noisy slamming weights kinda technique but has the cant be bothered look on her face. Yes, F&B can be hectic and busy and chaotic most times but I just feel unwelcomed at this outlet. Whats the point of writing names on cups for so called personalised gestures for customers but you cant be lil bit warm and have a lil bit of manners and not be showing a cold temperament towards customers. We just want our coffee and go. But, body language says it all. Even traditional kopi shops have better human interaction and manners.

I was waiting for my drink, earl gray tea latte. Normally, the drinks can be done in 2-3 mins. Except me, there is still one customer waiting. She is a foreigner. The staff was only greeting to her. Also kept chatting with her, so it took more time to make my drinks. I’m curious why the staff only greeting and chatting with the customer who is a foreigner, not Chinese.

Placed order through the mobile app, size is wrong when presented to me, drink is slower then those prdering at the counter, so much for the skip the queue posters for the counter. Well done ladies, well done.

Order a small Caramel Frap without whipped cream. Order came with whipped cream, as tho the staff just dont bother to look at the written description on the cup. Plus, after tasting, the drink is just ice blended... bland. First time this happened, hope is not the staff being in a bad mood because it does seem like they just on robot mode and passing around the drinks being made in process.

Super good, always my go-to Starbucks. Nearest to MRT and very convenient as it's just right beside the front entrance of the mall :)

Wow I have seen recent reviews on thus starbucks outlet with some putting one star. Felt bad for those customers who had went through bad experience with the staff or customer service. I quite like this outlet because of its special open concept with no binding doors unlike other traditional starbucks. Of course with covid, entrance/exit has to be centralized at one point. But enjoying your coffee or cake in such ambience I think its pretty decent experience. They have all kinds of seats is what I like for example some really low lying seats/tables, medium range, some mini sofa and some high seatings, which makes the overall ambience and choices of seating alot. If you walk in and assuming there are empty spaces, you can choose to your own preference. I ordered vanilla sweet cream cold brew while fiancée ordered caramel chocolate hot. Each has its own unique taste but basically starbucks standard shouldn't vary too much anyway. Staffs wise I think they are ok but they need to pay attention on weekends especially long queues because no consumers will want to wait for any longer than 3 mins with many staffs at the counter and noone serving them. So management should really take note of this point. Enjoy your weekend!

The worse service from Starbucks these days. Just sat in a Seminar that highlighted the pride of their service culture and that’s only the head office illusions. Missed out my order but no now apologised. Server dump the plate on the table and walked off. Showed no concern at all. The food looked horrible. Guess from the last visit, with the same issues, I will not come back here again.

My favourite place for a cup of Cappuccino. Nice ambience and it's located at the 1st level of Bedok Mall. The staffs were friendly, helpful, courteous and attentive especially the one serving me by the name of Qai. He was fast in his job and polite.
