kimchi gyudon M ($6.20) was really good and filling, reccomend adding $2 for the veg and miso soup add on which i found really worth it. Beef was flavourful! long queue during peak hour but i think it’s worth the wait

I always frequent Sukiya at Suntec City and since its my first at Waterwaypoint. Menu is the same, food taste wise I guess Suntec is much better. The restaurant is kind of small, tables are very close to each other. Service is very fast. I could get my food within 5 mins of ordering. Will visit again.

Serving is huge for the price. Like that you're able to select the size of the bowl (S, M, L). Wouldn't say it's the most authentic testing gyudon but the flavour is not bad.

The Yakiniku Yakitori was normal and not spectacular. The curry rice was below average and not recommended. Salad was good. The plus point for this restaurant is the low price.

Great to see sukiya opening more outlets, this punggol one is relatively new. It is very busy during lunch/dinner especially weekends but outside those hours there’s no queue, like today I find the beef don a lot better than yoshinoya at a similar price . Large size beef bowl is only 6.5$ which is quite good value Will definitely come here regularly

Did not have a good experience here. The curry was definitely not Japanese curry (supposed to be sweet) and it was FULL of OIL. As I dug deeper into the rice I uncovered a sea of oil. Not sure if someone accidentally dumped a bottle of oil into this dish or worse, intentional. Positive parts: Matcha latte with pudding was good. Service was also prompt and professional.

Tried this in Japan many years back which they have a lot of other varieties not available here. For the local branch, gyudon and unagi is quite tasty. Spinach too much garlic. Tori-Karrage not crispy, quite flat and bland. Miso soup is alright.

Delicious and authentic, just as how I remember it from Japan. They have a good selection here (just avoid certain things like curry, which Sukiya really isn’t famous for). Go for their classics like Gyuudon— it can’t go wrong considering how many years they’ve been active in Japan. The yakitori and its sauce is also an amazing match with Japanese rice!
