Sumo Fried Hokkien Mee, Oyster Omelette & Carrot Cake - #01-76 Sumo Fried Hokkien Mee

Food quality is pretty good but portion size has reduced recently. When ordering takeaway, the packaging is always very messy, with chilli and oil leaking out everywhere.

I like the hokkien Mee and carrot cake (only ones I've tried). The hokkien mee is not that slimy compared to the average ones. $4 has 2 mini prawns and some sotong. Chilli with it is quite good. Better than average I must say. The carrot cake I love it as well. It's the crispy carrot cake when you order the white version, as it is less dry. Combined with the chilli, it gives a very good combination. I tried the carrot cake at the other stall in front, which only sells carrot cake. I personally prefer this stall's carrot cake, because it is drier and less "wet", compared to the other stall at the front. Personal preference, would come again.

We ordered the S$6 portion, which was just nice for 2 person, because we others Sumo prawn me soup from the opposite store. Small eaters can opt for S$4. Fried Hokkien Mee is yummy!! The key is the prawn broth with the noodle, given 4 stars because the sambal chili should have some improvement. The Hokkien Mee is delicious ?

Terrible taste and hokkien mee with full of egg shells. Horrible ...children almost kana cut the month. Food serving sequence also not follow according to ordering sequence. Very very bad experience...only hurry to collect money

Ordered 2 pkt hokkien mee. Birds were roaming inside the stall That young chap didn't even bother cooking. He pour all ingredients in the pan and scoop up the next second. The way they handle is disgusting to the max. I wonder how they get their food license

Noodles were too salty. Also shortchanged me and charged more than the displayed price for a regular order. Idiot old uncle could not be reasoned with. Avoid this scummy stall

Poor attitude. Ordered oyster omelette. The guy after cracking eggs into the pan, started leaning back and using his phone. When he went back to flip the omelette, it was totally burnt. But still he proceeded to add in the oyster and place it onto the plate for me. I brought it back hoping to be able to salvage any non burnt sides but none. My parents was really unhappy and I went with my dad to confront them. Instead of offering to cook for us again, another guy just snatch the plate from my dad's hand, threw the food into the bin and gave us back the money we paid. I'm thinking he didn't want others to see the disgusting food they made as there was a queue when we went back. What terrible and lousy experience. I'm boycotting them and telling my friends in AMK never to patron their stall again. This happened quite some time back and I didn't realised so many others had the same experience. Wonder how they still manage to survive till now. Still, I do hope they change and become better people and better cooks.

The hokkien mee was pre-cooked and left at the side waiting for customer to purchase. The young guy running the stall didn't bother to heat it up when I ordered。完全没有诚意。After a few bites, I requested a new plate as the plate of cold hokkien mee tasted really terrible. Actually, the hokkien mee taste was not bad, but the stall owner failed to understand the proper way of running food business or just plain lazy. Such a pity. 做坏招牌。
