Oyakodon lunch set is worth it :) the unagi and egg TKG wasn’t exactly like the photo, a bit stingy with the shredded egg, but tasted pretty good and the presentation was unique hehe. Would go back. Service needs work though! They seemed understaffed.

Queued for 30 mins, waited 30 mins for food, and food was severely underwhelming. Kind of summed up our first experience with Tamago-EN. We ordered the hot plate dishes as it was on promotion, and the taste was really mediocre.. bland meat with subpar sauce. Only positive was the freshness of the eggs. The wait time for food was unforgivable as other tables who came after us got their food first. Unlikely to revisit again.

Tamago en oyako don is v salty, chicken not nice, only manage to finish the egg. Beef dish, Saikoro steak is ok. Milk shake is too sweet, though can neutralize the salty chicken. Strawberry tofu cheesecake okok.

The food is beautifully plated and delicious. Service staff is friendly and responsive. Seats r limited though due to space constraint. Definitely not for big group; max 4 persons.

This place always packed with people whenever we passed by but I never really want to dine in until my husband asked for trying it. We had our dinner at NEX mall during CNY. Staffs are friendly and attentive, appreciate it alot as they worked during CNY. Food wise was far from our expectation, so my feeling was right LOL, my hub said so too. My unagi was smelly, the chicken was okay, the yuzu drink was good, the salad nothing special about it. So it maybe our first and last time visiting. It's about personal preferences.

I love the food. Had the Prawn Pesto Pasta it was so delicious. The Berry Pancakes and Pudding so smooth and creamy. Great service! Kudos to the chef and team! ?

Visited the outlet at NEX for a quick Father’s Day meal, and of course, it was pretty crowded with staff members rushing about. As a party of four, we ordered a Beef Steak omurice, a mentaiko pasta, an oyakodon and a karaage kids meal on top of the dashimaki tamago side dish. Everything came without a long wait; beautifully-plated and IG worthy, except for the kid’s meal. Seeing how we adults were already halfway into the meal and my three year old was still waiting, my husband called for service. Somehow the kid’s meal got forgotten by the cooks, and due to the open concept of the kitchen, we could hear staff talking and asking about the kid’s meal and it was evident that they forgot about that order. The two waitresses on duty were really good— they were very busy but kept smiles on and were polite, helping to check on the forgotten kid’s meal. We eventually got it, and I think the attitude of the service staff was what saved the experience. Food-wise, it’s definitely not in the category of being amazing though their price point leans towards the higher side. It’s good, decent fare for a family meal, and the variety of egg dishes is a commendable point. Portions are good too. To put it simply, their beef omurice demi glacé and butter rice is nowhere as good as Ma Maison’s famous beef stroganoff rice with that signature Demi glacé. Their soufflé pancakes, eaten on a separate occasion, can’t really hold a candle to Gram’s. Their mentaiko pasta was quite a goopy mess towards the end, a point which they can look towards Hoshino Cafe for improvement. In a way, tamago-en ranks lower than other brands in flavor and quality, but certainly makes up for it in variety, creativity and simplicity.

Beautiful presentation of the dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful to decide on the dish. Only two options if you are looking for spicy food. Didn't wait a long time in the queue. Unlimited drinks for like 3 dollars. There is a room increase in food tasty, anyway overall experience is good.
