β β β β β This recent renovated restaurant evolved from its robataya concept to kappo styled Japanese cuisine brings the sheer delight to plenty of its loyal patrons.
My friend and I were there for lunch, as he is a kiwi whom absolutely love red meat, hence we ordered a wagyu sukiyaki and much to a fanfare, the sukiyaki was doused with flaming Japanese whisky to bring out the flavors of sukiyaki broth.
Simmered into perfection, the wagyu meat were well infused with the whisky that bring out the delightful sweetness of the sukiyaki broth. We had a bottle of sake to accompany us which serve as a nice cleanser for our palate.
Service staffs were well and friendly, with constant attention towards us in ensuring we were well taken care. Both chef Max and chef Patrick were very entertaining and friendly. Certainly a brilliant lunch option for both locals and tourists.

β β β β β The best omakase experience ever. Chef Max recommended a 6 course meal, and it was a perfect blend of flavour and portion. I have never had such an amazing experience at an omakase where every dish brought about surprises and a smile to my face. My favorite dish was the truffle noodle. My jaw almost dropped from the explosive taste. Impressive~
Say no more, see my pictures.

β β β β β A wonderful 4 hours Omakase dinner experience here at Tamashii courtesy of a good friend.
The highlights of the meal was the deep fried fish which we could consume the crispy fish bones - awesomely delicious. Decadent truffles on cawanmushi and the teppan don bowl too - mind blowing !
The waiters are attentive and prompt with their table service.
Chef Max came over to say hi & to check how are things going for us - nice touch !

β β β β β Always an amazing experience at Tamashii. The food is out of this world - incredible quality, innovative dishes, high grade ingredients. The restaurant is beautifully designed (I recommend sitting at the counter to watch the magic happen). Last but not least, the service is simply top notch. Exceptional value given the high quality of the food and service.

β β β β β The grilled fish was the only enjoyable dish. They are a far cry from what they used to be. Sashimi had a fishy smell, maybe poor turnover as we were the only table. Service was at best passable. When i said i don't take black sesame ice cream, they just removed it without even offering any alternative. Staff was also heard talking loudly in the kitchen. There are far too many superior places to Tamashii which is a pity as i had fond memories of what they used to be

β β β β β One of my favorite Japanese food hideout, with Patrick around its never a dull visit. As I donβt take raw food they made a special menu to fit my dietary restrictions. Canβt wait to be back again soon

β β β β β Went for lunch. Its proximity to Raffles Place makes it a popular place for office workers. Good quality sashimi, hence price is on the higher end. Friendly staff, I bet this too a popular spot for after hours drinks.
