★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The peranakan food here is delicious and authentic! Their signature chicken dish is crispy and has bold flavours while their babi ponteh and rendang also taste great. Great service and definitely a must try for those who enjoy peranakan food! Be prepared to pay more though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice pleasant ambience and superb friendly service by the staff. Food is great especially the Signature Ayam Panggang 'Blue Ginger', Ngo Heong, Chap Chye, Laksa and Nonya Noodles. Not to forget, the wonderful chendol to wrap up a deliciously satisfying dinner! Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kids suggested this place for dinner as they have their food apps that have specials and offers to use. It's our first visit. The service staff was friendly, patient and helpful. The five of us tried the following 6 items:
1. Babi ponteh (stewd pork)
2. Sambal terong (eggplant)
3. Beef rendang (spicy enough but now overwhelming)
4. Ngoh hiang (minced meat roll)
5. Fish (mackerel) in sambal
6. Chap chai (mixed veg)
We find the food good and taste is balanced with adequate sambal spiciness (pedas). There was a small sauce dish of ar-cha and another extra sambal with lime at the side for squeezing to taste.
Plan to bring our older folks there on the next visit. I think they will enjoy the peranakan meal very much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the cosy ambience and spacious seats. We had the laksa, buah keluak fried rice, otak otak, kueh pie tee, some fish dish (forgot the name) and chap chye: Everything was great. Spiciness level was just right, and food was super hearty. Staff here were also very attentive and warm -- they offered to refill our tea and pack the leftover food when they noticed we couldn't finish it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s my first time to Blue Ginger despite coming Great World very frequently. Was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the dishes. It provides a very authentic flavour and hits the right spot. Highly recommend their Blue Ginger chicken, assam fish and Beef rendang. Otah, fried chicken was quite good as well. The only letdown was the curry vegetables which was a bit bland and undercooked. Overall would definitely come back again to try their other dishes (they have a wide variety).
