★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rather disappointed with the standard in this outlet of Tambuah Mas. Comparing tithe Paragon Outlet, the Beef Rendang wasn’t tender enough, the Gado Gado blend of vegetables wasn’t as juicy (probably because insufficient cabbage) and peanut sauce too coarse. My goodness, the Curry Ayam wasn’t good at all, so lacking of coconut milk!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been ages since we've been to Tambuah Mas (I think they were in Shaw Centre at Scott's Road then). When we discovered that they are now in Great World City, we decided to check it out.
The ambiance was very nice, elegant and classy. We went there quite early so it wasn't too crowded. The service was a little slow as there were not many staff, but once you get their attention, they responded pretty fast.
Food wise, it was a mix; I really enjoyed the satay that came with my fried rice, which also had a generous portion of shrimps. However, the Soto ayam soup and sayur lodeh gravy were both lukewarm, and we sent the soup back to be reheated. Considering that wasn't very crowded, that was not acceptable, hence my initial rating of 4 stars dropped to 3 stars. If the staff paid a little more attention to such things, then I will definitely recommend checking out the place.
