β β β β β Surprised by the quality of food they served. We order the new year lunch set. The Yu Shen is one of the very good ones that I tried before. Dang gui duck is very good.
Best of all is the steam wild soon hock. It came with the fish liver. According to the boss, only wild soo hock comes with liver. The fish is super fresh and the liver is like foie gras, so smooth and tasty. And this come from a person that don't really take fish ?.
The yam paste is another must try. It's served in individual small bowl. It looks dry but when u dig into it, its so creamy n smooth. Yam paste come with whisked coconut milk and gula malaka served separately. However, the yam paste itself is good enough for me, so I did not add the coconut n gula malaka.
Highly recommended ?

β β β β β Not as nice as the Tiong Bahru branch.
Pig Stomach Soup: 1 person portion for $20. A rip-off for mediocre soup with 5-6 slices of pig stomach. Not recommended
Fish Maw Soup: $32 family portion. Average, with slight tartness. Thick gravy-like texture. Not recommended
Char Siew: Thick and just the right amount of fat, sweetness and char-ness. RECOMMENDED
Seafood Bee Hoon: Sucks. Watery and bland.
Egg and Spinach Soup: Average. Not recommended
San Bei Ji: Tasty, tender. Worth a try.
Peach Gum Dessert: Average.

β β β β β Chanced upon this Chinese restaurant ... decided to experience a spontaneous dinner here ... interesting place hidden within a private estate enclave ... decor is also quite interesting ... a simple neighbourhood eating place ...

β β β β β Thank you Kim for your service recovery. I ordered a few of our favourite dishes to eat at home. Picked up the food, and headed home. When we unpacked the food, realised that 1 item was missing. Texted Kim immediately and without hesitation, he delivered the food by himself. Appreciate his efforts! Thank you.
As usual, the food was great and everyone in my family enjoyed. Will surely drop by the restaurant when we can have more pax to dine in.

β β β β β Signature Singapore cuisine - dungui duck + shark fin soup + fried Mee Suay. Attentive owner and casual ambience in a nice housing estate. Recommended for pairing with wine and whiskey drinkers.

β β β β β We came to this place to celebrate a friend's birthday. As there were only 4 of us, we couldn't order much but we did! Scallops in broccoli was so fresh and delicious! The har cheong gai was also really tasty and crispy. One of our favourite! Instead of chilli crab, we had chilli prawn with fried mantou... so yummy? we order hor fun as our carbs for the night. The wok hei is strong and fragrant! Love it! Our last dish was claypot fish head. Wow, didnt regret ordering although we were all already so full! So nuch ingredients in the pot! But would like to try their steam fish nexr time round.
Restaurant is clean.and spacious. Also suitable for family gathering as they have big tables and outdoor seating too. Service is also fabulous! They never fail to change your plate when its full of gravy or leftover bits. Will definitely come back for more!
