โ โ โ โ โ Went in to look for a budget bike, whole shop only me and another Eurasian looking guy. I ask for something below $1k and the older man shouted at me saying they got nothing at such price and ask me go HDB bike shop to buy (omg). Then continue mumbling with a very unhappy face. He then turn around and turned so friendly and with a big smile with the other customers. So we local Singaporean are not good enough to deserve their biz?

โ โ โ โ โ Avoid this bike shop at all costs!!!
Went there to fix my jammed shifter on my Wilier bike (went here because it was the only bike shop nearby that was open after CNY) .
The old grumpy uncle rudely told me to get back to where I bought it, he even said it was too expensive to fix without even see in detail (80-200 sgd ?? you must be joking). Then he pulled the RD cable harshly to see that it's not only a cable problem (I'm not dumb, I know it's not). Close the store already if you don't have any intention to serve costumer. Really bad experience!

โ โ โ โ โ If you are first time buyer, not sure what you looking for, avoid going to this shop! No advise from them at all, despite the fact that they claim they are professional. If you die die want to have a GIANT/ LIV bike, perhaps you can go to other outlet to try out! Being newbie in bike scene, I am sure you don't want spend hundred or thousand and eventually getting a bike that not suitable. To cut the story, the star rating for this outlet is real!

โ โ โ โ โ To the folks that may say that 'bad customer experience' are just 'isolated incidents', I beg to differ. I believe it's the reverse. If you're buying a bike, I'm sure they'll probably give you the right attention. However, try it from a post-sales perspective and see if you get the same attention.
I went to both their Vertex (where I went to purchase my MTB) and Punggol outlets. Both times, they are rude and obnoxious. They behave as if they're doing you a favor.
I love my Giant bike, and after owning it for so many years, I was looking to upgrade. Now, I'm thinking twice. Since Tay is just a distributor, I'm going straight to Giant HQ and raising this as an issue. Its attitude like this and poor customer service that's dissuading me from buying another Giant bike.

My experience was amazing, I have a few choices of mtb and could not decide.
The sale person patiently explain and understand what I needed.
I happy with my new bike!
Lots of choices from road to mtb.
Giant is my favourite bike brand.

โ โ โ โ โ Was initially concerned with the bad reviews of this place. However, due to the shortage of bikes in most of the big showrooms, I decided to head down to try my luck.
As an ex-roadie, I had every intention of purchasing a full suspension bike, but the Fillipino lady (I didnt get her name) was there to give me solid advice and steered me towards a more suitable hardtail.
She was accommodating all the way to the end, alongside one other staff which helped put the bike together. I even got discount on a bunch of accessories. Safe to say, my initial concerns were unfounded.
Do give them a chance, lots of great bikes in stock and really helpful staff! ?

โ โ โ โ โ Read previous reviews and was initially really concerned on what kind of service to expect when going into the shop as I was really keen on looking for a brand new giant road bike to purchase.
However, I was glad to be greeted by the salesman/women over there who all showed patience to my many queries and clarifications being a new cyclist.
Would say I am pleased with the services and also bicycle which I've ended up purchasing from the shop.

โ โ โ โ โ Went into the shop looking for my first road bike. Daniel wasnโt pushy and I took about an hour to think about it before returning to the shop to purchase. After which he thanked me which was very nice of him. He then proceeded to spend an hour and the half fitting me and explaining in detail to me how to use, care for and maintain the bicycle. Really appreciated it as he knew I was an amateur. He even threw in some extra discounts even though I wasnโt smart enough to ask for it. ?Superb experience.
I donโt think all the bad customer experiences are general or reflective of all of the staff. Isolated incidents perhaps.
