Tay Junction

I quit many years back and now looking for my ideal bike. I visited Tay Cycle Vertex . All the staffs is super helpful. I went in and out of the shop like 3 times to decide which bike to get. Mind you I’m a very picky person, But the boss and Daniel is very patient to assisting me set up and allow me to try TCR vs Propel. Brought home the propel. Im definitely coming back to get upgrades. F the bad reviews, I didnt see anything bad. Could be customer attitude stinks how staffs want to attend to you? They are probably people causing trouble or demand too much services. Go bicycle shop just buy a bike, and be done with it.

Great solid service. My new road bike was producing knocking sounds at higher speeds and I could not identify them despite trying to make adjustments myself. Staff Daniel took it on and managed to resolve it (it was due to a insufficiently tightened seat post/saddle) by test riding it himself. Subsequently, he also helped me load the bike into my car. He's very experienced, knowledgeable and offered good advice on bike adjustments and maintenance, future options for component upgrades, grip and tire changes. Thanks Daniel and keep up the good work. :-)

I purchased a second bike from Tay Junction today. Special thanks to Daniel who is experienced, knowledgeable, patient and has a good sense of humour that made this experience as enjoyable as my first bike purchase from him. I read both negative and positive reviews about Daniel so I was a little apprehensive today, not sure if I’ll meet the nice or nasty Daniel. But Daniel was the same friendly and approachable Daniel I met in November. He gave the right amount of attention, professional and was very patient when responding to our queries. Thank you, Daniel for your great customer service, care and patience! In fact the whole team here including the boss is very nice :)

Best service out of the 5 bike shops I went to. Wanted to pick up a helmet. When I stepped in, I was a bit blur but the guy there pointed me in the right direction. Later on the sales person helped me check on the size, made the recommendation and was patient in letting me make my decision without any pushiness. Once I decided, she brought out a new piece and proceeded to demonstrate how all the pieces fitted together, even asking me to try so that she could help me on the spot. Even though it was slightly busy, they seemed to manage their time and customers well.

Despite reading all the negative reviews, I went to the shop. On the 2nd visit I bought a bike from them (22 Oct 2021). I liked the service that was provided. Not pushy but yet attentive when needed. Same friendly service when just browsing and when buying. Wendy knows the products she sells very well and Ken is a fantastic bike mechanic. Their after sales service was also great. I was surprised that both Wendy and ken could still remember me when I returned a couple of weeks later to rectify a warranty issue which was processed fast and without any hassle. I am very happy with my purchase and the Giant bicycle is an excellent ride. Tay Junction @ Vertex is a nice place to shop for a bike. As always, it takes 2 hands to clap.

Visited Tay Junction @ Vertex on recommendation by a good friend. Was served by Wendy. She was patient and took good effort to show and explain the various products that I was interested in and ensured that the product introduced was a good fit and met my requirements. To top it all, she offered me a good offer package that I couldn't walk out of the shop without signing on the spot. Bike delivery was prompt, given the stock availability and next day delivery. Daniel did my bike fitting and setup on the day of collection. He was professional, patient with a newbie like myself and went the extra mile to rationalise to me every step that he was performing. He also gave good bike care and usage tips. He also went beyond the call of duty to assist me in setting up my bike computer and sensors. I very pleased overall with the wonderful services rendered by Daniel and Wendy. I am very satisfied with my TCR Advanced Pro 0 DI2 purchase; will not hesitate to return for future bike purchases and recommending prospective owners to give them a chance. Daniel has rendered excellent customer service. He arranged my bicycle collection earlier than the expected date. He really does a great job configuring and tuning my bicycle and spends extra effort guiding me to use the shifters because tell him this is my first roadie.

My first Giant road bike from Tay Junction. Was well served by Wendy and Kent. Professional customer service. I look forward to more purchases from Tay junction. Thanks.
