β β β β β Edited: Seems like things have changed since my last review. Iβve tried their Stir Fried Meat Congee and the sauce is yummlicious! Thereβs also a set meal where you can top up $2 for a fried dough fritter with either a coffee or tea. However, I still think that their usual congee offerings is overpriced and underwhelming. It smelled fragrant but it tasted really bland. Long waiting time too, you often see customers and food delivery people waiting for 15-20 mins.

β β β β β Porridge's ingredient portion is quite generous. However, the taste and aftertaste of Porridge and their Fish Soup selections (e.g. mee sua) clearly contains MSG.
As for the side items that they sell at $1.30 each (e.g. you tiao, butterfly), at the sight of purchase, i thought its hot since its in a holding area with some heat light over it. But i was damn wrong, over 4 different purchases from them over 2 months, the You Tiao turns out to be consistently "cold".
Overall, i give a 3 star rating as the porridge is still reasonable priced for its portion. But for the side items, my recommendations is dont buy as its not worth $1.30 for a cold You Tiao.

β β β β β Never once did it disappoints me with the quality of the food. I tried the abalone porridge and Scallop and Pacific Clams porridge. The Pan Fried Omelette with preserved radish and silver fish is good as well.

β β β β β Signature porridge waa quite good but the fried dough was stale. Quite alot of variety of food from menu. I went there around 4pm+ so service and waiting time was fine.

β β β β β I believe they added cornstarch to the porridge which makes it thicker and smoother. Texture is similar to those Chinese thickened soup, very different from the legit porridge shop. Will not patronize again.

β β β β β Increase in price. Use to be $4 for my meatball porrifge. Now is $6. 50% increment. Taste wise is still good.

Even though we have to pack back home n eat during covid-19 heightened measure, the porridge still taste as good. Smooth n fragrant. Yummy! ?

β β β β β Ordered porridge with add on extra stuffs..good porridge with lots of ingredients, taste good...consistency is.thick enough.. But sadly idk why only gave half bowl portion. Come on how much only is the plain porridge. Ordered not the first time but apparently this time given half bowl. Will order again n check again how much they giv. If its not same then mostly will not buy again.
