That Wine Place - 261 Holland Ave

Chanced upon this place with friends and keep going back. If you're not looking for the typical loud and bustling side of Holland Village - this is the place to go. They are friendly and hospitable and the shopfront is quiet at night. I don't claim to know wines well and they did not snub me at all. They are respectable of your budget and give advice on their collection (a huge one too!). Love it!

Chanced upon this gem! Newly open place which serves excellent food and has wide selections of wine! ?????? Staff were very helpful and patient to recommend us wine to pair with our dishes. Food were great and flavourful, it little salty to my gf palate, but all good for me. Recommended dish: - Chicken wings (Love the spices!) - Lobster pasta (Umami+++) - Pork collar!!! (Super tender and juicy like waygu beef! ) - Texture of lemon dessert (This is heavenly good!) Wine is excellent and paired very well with the food. And heard that they are holding wine classes in near future, definitely keen to attend!

Vast selection of wine and equally good food to complement the wine selection! I really love the crispy whitebait. Will definitely come back for this and its Omakase next time. And to try more of their wine!

Great place for trying out wines and creative western Omakase. Chef introduced each and every dishes when serving the food. Overall great dining experience with quality food and wine.

Definitely make this a stop if you’re in Holland Village. Nick was super helpful and provided amazing service. The wines by the glass were great, and we were even able to do a tasting. Apparently they will be doing loads of tastings so make sure to get in the list. Can’t wait to go back!

This is a new place in Holland V that we were trying. As they were quite new the place was quite quiet for lunch. There needs to be more visitors trying this place as they have overdelivered us the food, the wine, and the service. There’s a myriad wine collection on the shelves where you can just come in and have a look. It’s basically part restaurant, part wine shops, and part academy for wine events. The only thing that was an off was the white wine option by glass which unfortunately only available for sweet wines only. There needs to be at least 1-2 option for fruity and dry for those preferring non sweet taste. Nonetheless, me and my husband will def come back for the wine, esp for the Hermitage which is quite hard to find in Singapore and they have it ?
