I gave 2 stars for the drink because it’s good but the operation service is bad. The shop is not crowded at all but still they don’t allow you to use any laptop/tablet to STUDY NOR WORK and even if you use your tablet for facebook/web browsing, they don’t allow either. What a joke! I see the staff go around and remind everyone to turn their devices off. I don’t blame them, it’s the management policy is bad. Explain it to me what’s the difference if I use my phone to watch movie long time here, read my book for hours? And I even see some people work/study with their book and notebook not laptop/tablet, what’s the difference? If you want to apply a policy, at least think it through first and apply it in the most reasonable way!

Dated 20 Dec 2020. There were only two staff there the morning we visited the Great World City branch. We ordered two drinks and one piece of cake. The staff didnt mentioned that they were out of African Sunrise Latte, she only told us when we went to the counter to pick up our order that they were out of African Sunrise Latte. We ordered another one. We waited. When we went to the counter to check for our order, it was not ready. It was only when my husband told her that we want to cancel the order then she told him she will make his order now. Staff wanted to serve us another order of Moroccan, which we have already collected. The balance of 30cents is yet to be given. The Moroccan was so so..water down taste with sugar bits sitting at the bottom of the plastic cup. The male staff, most probably is new, kept asking his colleague for instruction. We didn’t have a good customer experience. Hope the company can improve in its new hired training framework.

One of the best places to go in Great World City if looking for a quiet restful corner.

So me and my family went to the outlet after dinner, as my mother did not know how to speak fluent English, she asked the cashier who was Chinese if a drink had coffee in it in Chinese. The cashier replied my mother in English saying there wasn't coffee in the drink with a tone of disinterest, I brushed that a side at first thinking maybe he didn't mean it. When I placed my order, I stated the drink , the size of the drink I wanted which was small and he asked me if I wanted whipped cream, I said yes. He jotted down large size for my drink without checking with me, after I corrected him on my order he didn't add the whip cream back on the receipt. When the orders arrived, my mother's drink who was supposed to have whipped cream did not have whipped cream, but my brother who didn't want whipped cream got the whipped cream instead. Through out the whole ordering process, he sounded very impatient and did not make direct eye contact with us but constantly gave side glances. He was quite rude, hopefully other customers have not gotten this experience.

Rounded small table a bit crampy for those who order food and drink, and want to surf net via tablet or laptop. Literally have to finish my food...clear the tray before I had space to place my tablet. But all-day-breakfast was convenient as it's bundled with drinks. Noticed a sign that indicated a one-hour max stay. Aiyoh....this is a cafe...not a food court leh. 2-3 hours seemed more reasonable lah. :)

Lovely ambience. Nice place to chill after a meal.

Good chocolate oreo coffee, carmomile tea, and cream cake.. a good place to chit chat and enjoy the aircon ?

A quiet ambience - great for catching up with old friends, short revision session for students. Cakes & drinks are nice, as usual. What needs improvement is the customer service - lacking warmth.
