The Little Gym - 583 Orchard Rd

Great for younger kids.

My 2 & 4 yr old have been coming once a week for the last 6 months. The staff are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. It's a mix of activities, basic gymnastics exercises, using balance beam, bars, rings. They even have a inflatable matt (bouncy castle) they rig up once to twice a month, and play games with balls, frisbees, hoops, bats and other items to help them improve coordination and motor skills. Atmosphere is relaxed, don't expect them to be cartwheeling or backflipping, as it's not traditional Gymnastics class, but suppose it doesn't pretend to be either.

This is a small but nice Little Gym location. The staff are friendly and have a great ability to work with little kids. The skills children learn are very helpful for their development, and we are fans of the Litrle Gym franchise. While the space is not as big as some, the great work of the staff keeps this location at 5 stars.

Horrible management. I signed up for a package at their old city square location because my son really liked the teachers there, but then they since closed down. Now I've found that, even though they have a location at Great World City (5 minutes from me), they're refusing to let my son attend gym classes there and we have to choose from their other locations all 20-30 minutes away, or we have to sign up to a random class at Great World City. It's a fairly large package (over $1k), that when I originally signed up they were very amendable and assured me that they'll work with my schedule because they know i was pregnant with my second at that time. They also told me that it was refundable, whatever I don't end up using, but now they're denying all of this. Now, I'm finding out that there's an expiration date, that I need to take my child to a class across the city , or do a random class. Super frustrating trying to get a hold of someone who will talk to me, and when i do get someone, all I get is the same run around. Will not recommend this place to any of my friends or anyone reading this. Definitely do not get a package here.
