That’s a loosely translated Singlish version of “Tian Tian You Yu” restaurant at my fave mall in orchard road @tripleonesomerset
We finally find time to try the Mala Grilled Fish and we are happy with the quality food and attentive service by the staff. There is even an extra bowl of mala gravy for us to cook the fish as we finish up the soup. ?
If you are a fan of Marcus Chin, maybe you can try your luck booking a table on a Monday. ? The friendly host is spotted at the restaurant taking pictures and chatting with his fans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered the sour and spicy soup base and was perfect for us as it was not too spicy. The fish is big and very fresh with generous portion. Personally the dried chilli frog is one of my favourite dish. Light fragrant tea too. Overall, very fulfilling and authentic!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite empty when we went there for dinner. Lacks in vibes of a Chinese restaurant. Food wise overall still ok. I would appreciate if you can ask your staff not to clear the table by pouring the food waste and rubbish into the hot plate right in front of your customers. Just a little feedback.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happened to chance upon this location at somerset when we were looking for 烤鱼 for our early dinner. We were lucky as we dropped by early before the crowds started to pour in during the dinner time.
We ordered the spicy sour fish and wife did not really like the taste of it. But that is due to own personal preference as I like it alot! ? Fish was fresh and the sides we ordered to pair with the fish was abundant and enough to keep us walking out of the store feeling super full! Might give it a consideration again if we are craving for 烤鱼.
Total cost for 2pax: $76.39.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally got to try the roasted fish to serve with hot metal plate. Kind of fascinated for the first time. We ordered the "Ma La" preparation and it turned out to be tasty and delicious. I shall re-visit for other flavours.

The fish in broth not bad.
The spicy tofu okay.
Service good.
Ambience 7/10 open area as it is a food court concept. Two seating areas. A frontage and separate seating area with 6 tables.
May visit again.

We ordered the meat bun ($5) which is tasty and the main course is the sour soup grilled fish ($46.8) with added sliced lean pork ($4.8). We requested less spicy and the soup turned out to be just nice. Fish is meaty and less bone, overall taste is good.
