★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super value for money set lunches in the heart of Somerset. Enjoyed every bit of this set meal! Also came with a sesame pudding dessert. If you come in a party of 5, you even get a private room. Super good for work lunches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first time dining here and it was wonderful. Everything we had was delicious and of high quality: thick salmon sashimi slices, smooth chawan mushi, fresh chirashi zushi, and tender gyuniku (beef) soba ?? The service was really good too. My wife and I hope to be back again soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh sashimi and quality culinary skills from the team of chefs. You can request for omakase with their catch of the week — guarantee to excite your tastebuds! I have been a long term patron to build a strong relationship with Chef John to a point I order omakase all the time.
The staff is also attentive and professional.
Price wise is a little steep but it’s a good trade off for freshness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying this restaurant. Was pretty impressed by the reviews, so decided to give it a shot. Ordered 3 different sets meals, the Unagi, beef, and tempura. The sushi and sashimi was fresh, and the sushi rice was in small portions. I personally liked the beef, especially the tenderness. Will be back soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was introduced to this place by a friend. Came here for lunch. Nice cozy place, friendly staff and good service. The sashimi was fresh, sliced nicely to the thickness I enjoy. The highlight were the caterpillar maki, teppanyaki beef, deep fried figs and the ramen made with fish. The maki was flavourful, the beef was tender, well marinated, the figs gave a nice sweetish twist in the middle of the meal, and the ramen was nice and springy. Overall a wonderful experience.
