β β β β β This place has been consistently good (for dining in, takeaway is another story).
The black pig shabu raman is definitely a must try. The broth is rich and creamy, the perfect complement to the shabu shabu.
The poke salad is pretty decent too, crunchy lettuce and onions with sashimi in a lovely sauce.
The kurobuta sukiyaki was quite well done with a variety of veggies to complement the pork. The soup is nice and savoury as well. They also top up the soup for free.
This is definitely one of the better Japanese restaurants at an affordable price point.

β β β β β The broths of both ramen dishes were well seasoned, not too rich but certainly not weak.
The jumbo tonkatsu is delightfully crispy. A dip in the broth adds more flavour to the pork!!

β β β β β Great food. Great service. Quality of the food has been consistent, just that some of their dishes may not be in stock sometime. Love their sashimi and soft shell crab. For more exotic sashimi etc will recommend everyone to head to tampopo grand instead which is just upstairs!

β β β β β Walked in here not expecting much but the food was super scrumptious. The best meal I have had in ages.
The tamago was sweet and moist. The katsu is soft and breaded with a tasty topping and the rice is fluffy and wet.
Curry was super good as well. Super homely tasting.
Truly authentic Japanese food and will definitely be back. Please keep up the standards

β β β β β Ordered the shabu ramen and the jumbo tonkatsu ramen though the tonkatsu isn't as big as the name suggest. Brooth is rich and creamy. The layer pork set was also quite good but portion is rather small too. GyΕza was a little soft and not pan fried long enough

β β β β β As usual, the staff were very polite and attentive. My hot green tea was refilled quite promptly and often.
Tried the crab porridge today. It was very flavourful. The porridge came with a side of seaweed. I would suggest you try the porridge without the seaweed first to taste the sweetness of the crab. I added some seaweed to the porridge after about half the bowl was left. But I find I prefer the original taste as the seaweed covered up the taste of the crab.

β β β β β Love this place.. service was excellent. Staff very friendly, hardworking and professional. Mei na kept topping up our tea.. very anticipating staff. May the manager is extremely friendly and helpful. Love her cat shirt and she allowed me to take a pic of her shirt. I managed to get that shirt online after that.. thanks May.. food was excellent.. price was reasonable. Enjoyed our lunch here.
