★ ★ ★ ★ ★ decent bowl of budget ramen. set meal of $4 is quite worth as individual items are $3 each. broths are slightly oily & salty, with the gyokai being slightly more flavourful and regular tonkotsu slightly weaker

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An average bowl of ramen. Tonkotsu ramen broth is a bit lacking but has a nice aroma, chashu is fatty and tender, noodles are well cooked and have a nice texture. The Uni tsukemen dipping broth is too sweet for me and is not to my liking. However, noodles are cooked well and the chashu is also fatty and tender. Overall everything is nicely cooked but broth is not that good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the Ramen Gyoza set which came with a small bowl of char siew rice. Char siew rice was pretty bland, ramen noodle was good but soup lacks the umami. Tori Karrage was alright, gyoza was average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The stupid cold ramen wasn’t great, just a mush mash of “quality” ingredients drowned in truffle oil. Came for finesse and felt finessed. The hot bowl was passable, reminded me of the bowl I had 15 years ago at Ajisen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really want to comment that their kids meal is really Awesome! Ramen, side dish, kids drink and a dessert. Well done!
However, their signature cold stupid ramen V2 was a very imbalance dish, strong truffle taste coupled with raw fish and prawn really didn’t work for us.
The other ramen was acceptable and no much to comment on. Overall a simple meal and good for a quick fix.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the Tsukemen, sauce is not too salty but lack any distinct taste. Pretty ordinary. Char siew have good portion of lean meat. Set meal comes with a small bowl of braised meat on Japanese rice and gyoza or karaage etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This corner of Takashimaya hides a gem of a stall. The staff are friendly and the dishes tasty. The cold stupid ramen v2 is the best cold ramen I've tried and the Takashimaya Special Uni ramen has a very flavourful broth. Available option to top up to a set of a side and a drink comes with a complimentary grilled pork rice sampler.
