Great food, great service. Claypot rice is a must try. Wanton mee is "Eng's style" which I think is because they used to own Eng's? (Need to fact check) Char siew is wayyy better than the ones Eng's use which goes amazingly well with the noodles. Great price point as well. Highly recommended.

Sad to see the previous Deng Wen Ji restaurant replaced by this chai fan/roast meat stall The chai fan was below average and certain dishes were stale. Will not return

Don't bother going, they are closed for reno until July, and make no effort to update on Google regarding their temporary closure. My first attempt there, and also the last. I really don't like to support businesses who are not considerate to their patrons.

I had high expectations of the place, but the prawn noodles had ingredients which were not fresh and foul tasting. Soup tasted like long kang water. Wanton mee is decent, but it gets very jelak, and the pork lard is slightly rancid

Nice wanton mee, tastes like a combi of Eng's and Kok Kee wanton mee. Would come back to try their other dishes as well. Reasonable pricing with indoor air con seating area.

Superb bowl of wanton noodles! Better than Eng's I would say! Very similar to Eng's especially they also served the same kind of spicy chilli sauce. The noodles texture was great and it was a little more wet with sauce. And the pork lard was just sent the flavours to another level! The claypot rice was fairly good as well. Cooked to order and the chicken was tender. Finally the fried beancurd skin was nice and crisp. Almost forgot to mention, they served nice coffee too! Overall, a wonderful meal!

If you yearn for a good bowl of wanton noodle, and you are just around KINEX/PLQ area, then you have to go and try this. It has been many many years since I last came to this coffeeshop. It used to be an old looking one that sold traditional breakfast and fried beehoon mee. It has now changed. The magic unfolds when you start to stir the noodle. Hidden below is savoury sweet char siu sauce and lots of pork lard. The noodle is “Q”, char siu well grilled, and wanton fresh and juicy. The staff are very friendly too. What a pleasant rediscovery.

Tried the Wan tan noodles, the char siew was pretty good but the noodles itself is a big miss
