I was contemplating if I should write this but as a patron of almost 6 years, it pains me to say that the quality and service has been on a downward trend. This place used to be the place I'd recommend to my friends who are starting out film, but no more. Firstly, quality of the images have been very so-so, some rolls will come out great while some really bad. Never really complained about it and even though I do empathize with the reviews that state that the customer service here is bad sometimes really horrendous, my real gripe with this place is how long they store your negatives for. One month is how long they will keep and that is not long trust me. Today I had the bad experience of going down to collect my negatives just for it to be thrown away. But to be fair though, I was instructed to collect by the 3rd of February whereas the shop was closed till the 4th. Sometimes as a student it is hard to find free time to come down to collect the negatives. I just wish they had a longer holding period. I really hope they could be more understanding. Secondly, I understand that the prices of film rolls are on a rise but the prices they sell here is just exorbitant. Thank god for Whampoa Color Centre, where I could safely switch over. Not a ad for WCC, but their prices of film developing may not be as competitive as Triple D but they sell film at a honest price and also with a discount voucher as well to develop at their location. Also their holding period for the negatives is 3 months and hope Triple D can be a bit more proactive in their improvements and services as well. After all they are not the only ones in this business now. Time to buck up.

I have always had a good experience at triple D as it is affordable and they are very efficient in getting my films developed. But today has got to be the worst experience in the store. What was going as a good day turned bad due to that one staff of yours which was rude and inconsiderate.I simply wanted to get my films developed and was unsure if I had to refill the form in the PC and when I told the staff, β€œoh i think I’m a existing customer β€œ. To my dismay he replied, β€œ YOU FILL THIS UP CAN”. I think you can judge if this is a acceptable act or not. I’m utterly disappointed that such a person is representing such a reputable company.

Pretty complete collection of mainstream films for both 120 and 135. A tad bit expensive if you compare with online prices. For reference, a box of Portra 400 120 film is $97.5 Film development result is decent, but cost quite a lot for B&W ($18 for high quality scan), guess it's due to no one really use B&W anymore.

Fast and efficient service. Drop off rolls before 2pm and receive scans on Google Drive before 5pm. Extremely easy to get to from Rochor MRT Station (3mins walk). Pretty cheap, $9.50 for developing and 4base scan. Sample images attached :)

I've been developing my film here since 2014. Customer service used to be very good when uncle was running the shop alone. But now with the young man in the shop, customer service's standard has dropped. Young man in the shop was extremely rude. It's been a while since I last developed my film, I used to get them in a CD. All I wanted to know was if I'm able to get them send to my email and he got annoyed and said JUST WRITE DOWN YOUR NAME AND MOBILE NUMBER. Google reviews are flooded with negative reviews about this young man. I think it's time for the shop to do something about it. I used to recommend my friends to develop their film here but I guess I won't be doing it anymore.

I've sent my films to be developed at a handful of businesses over the past few years to see what they were like, but right now, this is the only store where I ever develop them, eversince early 2019! I went to the store around 10:30 a.m. to get my films developed, and I had them via Google Drive by 4 p.m. the same day. On other days, if I went in the afternoon, I knew I'd have it the following working day. Efficient, high-quality and services, and the most affordable in town. :) In addition, film rolls are available for purchase in the store.

Never tried developing my films here and was a little hesitant initially to try, but my films turned out great, and I received it within 18 hours. Very clear and loved the colours as well. Staff was friendly and clear with her instructions too. Will return again.
