โ โ โ โ โ An agent called abt UOI then I subscribed on it. Then after 2 months being quiet. The bill of totalling 3 months arrived. Called them up to free me from "bill shock" by deffering the payment as monthly as spoken thru the phone. But the agent seemed to be inconsiderate to hear my plea.

โ โ โ โ โ Our family was cheated by UOI. When we bought the travel insurance, we never intended to use it. But when the horrible thing happen and my family member passed away, we went through sorrow and spent a lot of money. And it came to the claim, the UOI people were disgustingly cold and transactional. I regret choosing them. They are so different to UOB. Avoid them!

โ โ โ โ โ It seems like the agents doesn't care at all about their clients. All wanted was to renew my vehicle insurance. It is difficult to get hold of the agent and once you managed to contact them, they won't get back to you. They will even reject your call.

โ โ โ โ โ Call their customer hotline just to verify their account number. Because I want to buy motor insurance and transfer money to their account. But the staff don't know anything and keep transfer my call to other staff but cut off my call twice eventually. I didn't not get my answer yet. So poor customer service and bad experience. I don't know whether to purchase the insurance form UOI now ....

โ โ โ โ โ NOT ENGAGING WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!! Got into an accident and filed for claims. Insurance company gave the impression of wanting to close the case early without any detailed investigation. Kept calling during work hours to coerce my fiancee into admitting my fault. Insurance officer was dismissive on our side of the story and was very unprofessional in handling the case.

โ โ โ โ โ Tried to contact them regarding a recurring charge to my credit card from UOI that I have no idea about. Called 62227733, the mainline 5 times but no one picked up. Eventually someone picked up, sounding very impatient and accusing me of calling the wrong number, even though I had called their MAIN LINE. She then expressed unhappiness that the main line is redirected to her HP when no one picks up and is venting her frustration on me, the customer instead. Eventually she gave me another number to call and thankfully the other person managed to resolve my problem in a professional manner. Else there won't even be 2 stars.
