★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a BBQ chicken rice with egg from here and after eating half I realised the chicken was not cooked. I fell sick with food poisoning the next morning and will never eat from here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad, quite delicious but not really authentic, no chili inside and i was not asked if I want spicy or not. A bit disappointed because take away, could not go back to add spice. Service attitude also not very friendly. Maybe will try again next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place turns out to be my most memorable memories from my trip to Singapore. Food taste great, had pho and bbq pork there~ But will definitely come back for the service itself. The young man there is definitely cooking with pure love for his job, and he's really accommodating me as a customer by helping to speak by language I'm familiar with when I struggled using English (even if he's also struggling himself and said sorry that he's not speaking my language well), and also help to show the ways to eat and even help me to prepare the best sauces for my pho. Will definitely visit this place again for my next trip there and hopefully will come back to experience the same excellent service from the humblest server I've ever encounter at Singapore!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viet Quan has a hawker stall at Whampoa and I have been going there for the past few years.
Now, they just opened a stall inside Zhongshan Mall with a few more options.
I had their beef pho today and it was delicious for the price I paid. The broth was nice and rich with a slightly sweet flavor to it. It’s not the best pho around, but it’s a lot better than many of the places I’ve been in Singapore.
This place is definitely worth checking out!

Prawn rolls are so good, we gobbled it up before we realised we should take a picture of it.
Fried fish was super cripsy and very flavourful. Highly recommend getting the fish.
Also recommend the chicken wings! Although there’s a sauce on the chicken, the chicken is still very crispy.
Overall, everything is very flavourful and fragrant!! Will come back here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly good food from this unassumingly small Vietnamese outlet located within Zhongshan Mall's food centre.
The Banh Mi and Papaya Salad were both excellent.
Crispy, beautifully soft bread with the banh mi, with lots of flavourful, tender chicken, well-balanced sauce with a nice 'punch' from the chilli, plus some fragrant herbs and crunchy veggies. The papaya salad had a real kick, but was equally delicious.
What a treat for lunch! Kamun to the team at Viet Quan!
