I have been looking for a new pair of glasses for a long period of time. My Husband researched online and found out that W Optics at Great World does Comprehensive Eye Examination, so we went. We were served by Jian Bin. Initially, we wanted to do the Comprehensive Eye Examination and order a new pair of glasses online. The service was so wonderful at the W Optics Great World outlet that it felt right to just straight out purchase the glasses there. Jian Bin was meticulous, professional, sincere and attentive. We wouldn't have it any other way. Cheers to lifelong healthy eyeballs ??

Terrible service. I ordered a pair of new glasses 4 weeks ago since my glasses were broken and needed it urgently. After all the checks they told me 8to10 working days. Which is already very long. After waiting the 10 working days I got my new pair but it was not clear. I went back and asked them to check what went wrong. They couldn't give me an answer until 1 week of pestering where they finally said it was their fault as they made an error with the power calculations for the lenses. Now I am waiting another 8to10 working days for their incompetence and all they can say is sorry for the inconvenience. This 4 weeks of waiting has already cost me so much in time and money. Strongly don't recommend their service as they are unreliable and deliver totally out of the give time frame and their quality and pride in work is seriously appalling. If I could give 0 stars I would. As of yet I have still yet to receive my proper promised pair of glasses.

The worst optical store. Multicoating of lens pealing off after 18 mths. The family have been wearing glasses for decades from Straits Optical, Nanyang Optics with no problem. Two years back, my daughter came to W Optics because she liked a frame there. That first pair coating came off within a year and was replaced. She then make another pair and 18 mths later the same thing happened. Two pairs in a row is obviously not a one-off poor workmanship. When the multi-coating of the second pair started to peel, the store was not sympathetic about. Tries to shift the blame to poor care and cleaning of glasses. When pressed, the salesman confessed that this is not the first complaint he faced. But because it is more than 12 months, the company will not honour it even it is poor quality from their supplier. So don’t be deceived by the bright display, good range of frames and well dressed sales reps. What really matter is the quality of lens you are getting. Avoid W Optics !!!!

Very good service! Professional support from specialist to get me the perfect lenses! They are extremely patient and never rushed me to take a final decision until I was happy. They even made adjustments to the lens of the spectacle after wearing them for 1 week. Excellent communication also. Great range of products. Highly recommend.

I had my eyes checked and glasses made on the 21 December. After I paid for everything, I was then told that the glasses with customised Zeiss lense can only be available on 6th January 2022. It is unbelievable especially in Singapore that optical shop takes 20 days to make a pair of glasses. When I said I will have to cancel the order as I need some days for the fitting in before flying out they came back and said it will be ready on 30th. I then follow up for a time to collect on the 30th and despite of several messages. No response from W Optics. Do you expect customer to sit and wait for 24 hours not knowing when to collect the glasses?This is never never the service I experience as a consumer in Singapore more so I am scheduled to fly out in a VTL flight which everyone knows any changes will mean I have to go thru a quarantine instead of quarantine free travel. This aside, I do not expect to be ignored by your store after spending a $1400+ on a pair of glasses and contact lenses. It is simply an irresponsible behavior!

Very kind and caring staff who take their time to ensure that the perception and fit of glasses is perfect. Made excellent suggestions as to what frames would suit me best and informed me if discounts available. Call out to Kai Sit and Marcus for assisting me so well.
