★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting place for some beef goodness. Have to try the Sando and Hida Beef Sushi. Final Sukiyaiki dish was a little underwhelming and slightly too salty. Recommended for the ambience and service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy dining area and impeccable service. That's probably a given with any Les Amis group restaurant.
We opted for the 6-course omakase ($118) and added on a Chateaubriand sando ($38) but the pieces were tiny.
The Somen with Uni and Hokkaido Hairy Crab was such a great start. Cold, creamy and fresh.
Another seafood delight was the perfectly done Awabi. I always love a good abalone.
The A5 hida beef sushi and A5 Tochigi beef sukiyaki were my favourites of the 3 beef dishes in the course.
Was a great lunch overall and we left pretty stuffed despite opting for the shortest course.
I wonder how often the menu changes. I'd like to be back but definitely want to be trying a different series than the same type/style of meats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you love beef, uni and fine dining as much as I do then this is a huge must. We had the lunch course 14.03.2022 which was already decadent with A5 Hida sushi and abalone served. We also ordered their famous sando plus wagyu tartare additionally. Superb indulgence!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely meaty affair!
I had the dinner omakase (S$238++) and was delighted from beginning to end. The premium ingredients were of high quality and their flavours really shone. My favourites include the langoustine appetiser, the sando and the sukiyaki don.
The ambience seemed upscale but the service was homely yet professional which is ideal for me.
I will definitely be back and I also want to try their lunch omakase!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wagyu feast!!! You can taste different Wagyus in different ways.
The sumiyaki yonezawa beef has a firm texture. There are 2 toppings - Wasabi and sour-taste ???. I like the Wasabi.
Abalone with sauce made by its liver taste very special and savoury.
Sando is my favorite dish. Omni beef just melts in my mouth.
Hida beef sushi is the softest.
Miyazaki beef teppanyaki texture is quite similar to yonezawa.
The wow factor is the soup - It's so sweet~~~
Ordered a tongue in the end - A chewy piece to end the meat show.
The dessert is an icing on the cake that didn't disappoint.
What a memorable meal~ muakks....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Advance birthday treat from the best friend ❤️ She chose Wagyu Jin because she knows how much I enjoy beef. The sumiyaki, A5 yonezawa beef was our favourite of all the courses. It was charred to perfection and melts in your mouth. Overall, the meal and service were excellent! The space was fairly small (which isn't a bad thing), and I love the interior of this restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite part of the $328 omakase meal was the uni at the start and the garlic fried. I would not recommend this place for any beef lover, because the flavours and quality of meat do not reflect the premium price tag.
There was also a loud Chinese couple that sat next to our table, who were basically chugging bottles of wine and HAD to 干杯 every glass they drank. It was very annoying to hear their glasses clinking every 5 minutes.
Service was alright, but i definitely will not be back here. It was very disappointing, and there are much better places to have Japanese beef in Singapore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Returned for lunch at Wagyu Jin, a nice venue to savour some top Wagyu Brands of highest yield grade and meat quality grade (ie. A5) in one-go, like Hida (Gifu), Yonezawa (Yamagata), Omi (Shiga), Tochigi, Miyazaki. To my understanding all their A5 grade meats are wet-aged for at least 21 days.
As A5 meats are high marbling, the silky fat which provides the ‘melt-in-your-mouth’ experience could be overwhelming when over-indulged. So choose your omakase-set carefully :-) and adjust by topping up with items from the ala carte menu (the good add-ons are tongue (thick) & the chateaubriand sando). Perhaps the restaurant could consider inserting a palate cleanser in between, especially helpful for diners whom are not having wine or sake.
Service is attentive and perhaps staff could provide a bit more details about each brand of Wagyu served.
Ambience, minimalist designed, good soundproofing from the busy Claymore Hill street. Quite comfortable and quiet, only if the rest of the diners were genteel and keep their conversation from crescendoing.
