WaWa Lala Bee Hoon (Stars Of Kovan)

Deeply disappointed with their services!!! Purposely came all the way down to buy their recommended/popular dishes i.e. drunken lala beehoon and marinated cockles in special sauce but I was told that those dishes were out of stock and waiting time required around 1 to 2 hours. I had no choice but to order the lala beehoon soup since my intention was to takeaway lunch for my family. Really wanted to get the drunken lala soup for my family to try since I had it before and I liked it very much compared to the normal lala soup. Upon ordering, I was told to wait for another 20mins to collect the normal lala soup. While waiting, I saw a few customers came in and left without ordering upon knowing that the menu items 1, 3 & 7 were out of stock. I felt that the service crews should prepare more ingredients and standby for lunch hours especially between 12pm to 2pm. Do note that the timing I came by was at 12.43pm today, during weekends (refer to the attached receipt, ticket #13). They should anticipate more orders coming in. However, it seems like they did not thought of it. Note: Remember to call their outlets and check before heading down to purchase their popular dishes.

Interesting concept and nice variety of lala dishes. Tried the garlic lala & bee Hoon soup. Quite tasty and they also serve beer and local coffee and tea at affordable prices. Made a mistake and posted for the wrong outlet. I was at fortune center outlet

Lala was tasty and clean. I felt the sambal was quite spicy and the mushroom rice could be less salty. The lala broth had a mix of rice wine and the flavor combined well with the vermicelli. The garlic butter sauce was creamy rather than buttery which was not really what I had expected. Overall taste was OK.

Food is really good, we ordered the cockles with chilli, it is very fresh and the chilli is the bomb. The sugar toast with garlic sauce is also must try. Price is on the high side and the portion can be more given the price. Will definitely come back again ??

Ordered to try. Signature Power Drunken LaLa with Tang Hoon ???? Power Sambal LaLa with tasty rice ???? LaLa are fresh and clean. Can top the rice with some Chinese Parsley.

Updated 15Jan2022. Daily free parking 11-3pm A 5 stars for its freshest, but clams r a bit small! Portion is ok and the price is justified for the place. Tried drunken soup w bee Hoon, a tad too ginger. Clear soup w bee Hoon tasted better for its freshest sweetness. Spicy sambal clams w rice was ok. Overall good effort but no eating space inside for the time being. Have to sit outside benches to consume. Forgotten to take the food pic, too eager to try!

The lala mihun soup is really nice. I like it very much and finish all the soup. The lala is very fresh and nice. The sambal quite spicy for me but the taste is nice too, the rice is dried shrimp taste.

Portions is good. Would be great to add some more vegetables in the drunken Lala Tung Hoon soup so that it looks better. Overall portions are generous. The sauce for the cockles can be a little more. Overall taste great!
