★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for the jianbing. Ended up having liangpi as well. Both were very good. The jianbing wasn't exactly the same as what you find on the streets of Beijing (not as spicy and no crisp in the middle) but it hit the spot and satisfied my craving!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought their new product 冰糖葫芦 to try since it's Very rate in Singapore. Out of 7 fruit, 5 are already spoiled. Luckily I noticed it. For those who don't know how to see, it is toxins in the body. SFA should fine them. Stay away from them... Bad business

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh yeah the other reviewers are right; this IS pretty bad. Crepe took a while to prep and it was quite tasteless. The same can be said for the leek and egg bun, and even the other bread-like thing that had spices on it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure if this is a different variation of Jian Bing, but this is definitely on the non-crispy side. Lacking of flavors. The preparation for the Jian Bing took quite a while.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the red bean bun - am usually apprehensive abt red bean buns because they're usually filled with overly sweet bean paste.
This is pure unsweetened red bean filling - definitely recommended for people who don't fancy sweet stuff, but for most, this would be on the bland side.
Saw a lot of feedback on negative service but I personally didn't experience that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spring onion pancake without spring onion. There was two row of spring onion pancake on display, the row nearer to customer seems to have spring onion, however, upon ordering, male stall holder only take the back row which doesn't look to have spring onion. When I check with him, he answered me bluntly is all the same. Anyway, it taste horrible.. worse of all, had bad diarrhoea after eating. Didn't eat any other things except this pancake. Stomach still not well...
Hawkers who choose to do business in Sg, please be honest. Please do not spoil hawker's reputation. Hawkers not only serve locals, we have our foreign guest as well...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re craving jian bing prepare to be disappointed. Although very generous with the fried beancurd (?) and meat filling (I got beef), the meat itself was dry, slightly chewy, and lacking flavour. Didn’t taste very fresh. It was also room temp which wasn’t nice. The overall pancake was missing a lot of sauce and flavour. I asked for extra sauce when I saw how much they put on but they said no. I would just buy a bun from one of the other stalls next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jian Bing Guo Zi (Chinese Crepe) with Sausage - $5.00
Repeated visit, because I do enjoy having Jian Bing occasionally. Just the fact that there isn't much place in SG that sells this. I agree that the pancake itself doesn't have much taste because it has so little sauce but the sausage was salty enough to give the crepe a balanced taste. The crispy fried dough also remained crispy despite me eating it an hour later. (Honestly, I think I might just really like anything crispy ?).
Service was fast for me and the lady serving was friendly and quite helpful. Maybe because it wasn't a peak timing when I went.
Other than that, it's carbs overload.
