Ordered the Chicken Set.
The short: Tasty Fried Chicken in a Sweetish Salted Egg Sauce
Overall a good set to have if you are craving fried food with Salted Egg Sauce. A note that the salted egg sauce is a tad sweet but powerful flavours with chilli and laksa leaf to give it that extra kick.
And for set meal it’s $2 for rice and egg. Which is a tad pricey.
Would try other protein options but with only salted egg maybe it’s one dimensional as well.
And wondering why carton boxes are used? Wonder is it food safe hmm?
Would recommend at least a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tapao-ed the combi of chicken and lotus root chips. Chicken was pretty tender and juicy and crispy on the outside. Lotus root chips were pretty good too. Reasonable price and portion. Give it a try if you like salted-egg flavour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just tried their chicken bits at $5.90 today, 20 Aug at about 6pm.
The chicken seemed like it had been fried left to air for too long. Found it really hard to bite through the skin.
The salted egg sauce seems to be very, very diluted.
Sadly, it doesn't taste good and I'll probably give it a miss next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly service staff at the counter today. Ordered the pumpkin box for the first time and it was freshly made! Yummy! pleasantly surprised, but be prepared to feel the heaviness after and down it with a nice cold beer or coke! had to take off a star cos tbh it is on the expensive side!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried the ultimate sharing box and I really like the fried crispy lotuses, chicken and mantou. Dipping them into the salted egg york sauce further enhances the flavour and it's really a heavenly pairing. Just that maybe I was having them as a snack, I find the flavouring a bit sweet but it goes well with plain rice. Do try them out if you like salty egg!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying, salted egg sauce on its own is in the sweeter side; relatively diluted. Fortunately the saving grace is that the chicken itself was already somewhat coated with some sated egg sauce. Felt it was very average, not something I’ll try a second time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the Dynamic Duo and choose the fish + lotus root. Both are delicious, especial the lotus root, very crispy! Salted egg sauce has a hint of spice which is nice too! Will be back for more!
