The Sukiyaki Karubi Set is a must get! Unfortunately, not so much for the premium Karubi and Rosu set (despite costing more). It’s only after this meal, I learn that Karubi cuts are near the belly while Rosu is nearer the shoulder. So Karubi slices are much more flavourful than the Rosu. Rosu meat is also quite tough (and I ensure to not overcook my meat!) So +1 for the sukiyaki Karubi set but -1 for the premium Karubi & Rosu set. Another -1 for me was the Honey & Yuzu tea. Paid $2.50 just for them to me a bottle of Pokka tea.. like what.. at least give me a cup of ice with a straw? Otherwise I might as well go to NTUC!! Also, the sauces tray piqued my curiosity at the start, with 8 selections to choose from, I simply couldn’t wait to dip my meat in the various sauces. Unfortunately, it was quickly dashed when I realise, they would only gave me the Garlic Soy and Spicy Mayo. Overall, I still liked my meal and probably will come back if the queue is <15mins, but anything above, I’ll go elsewhere.

First of all I have to say its really affordable and the meat was good too. Ambiance was really decent and service was very very good. Polite staff and helpful no matter what silly questions u may have. The 40 min dine in was a buzz kill but u totally understand the reason. I'll surely be back there if I get place . The ques have reduced actually I was there 9pm on Wed and no que. Totally enjoyed my time. Cheers

Been to Clementi branch before so know what to expect. 50min of dining. Order via QR code for the table. Cook the meat yourself. Overall 4 stars.

overall experience was ok. rch at 1045am on mon morning..no queue. took queue no and was no.1 lol. seated @1105am and ordered by scanning QR code. set was served vy fast but i was "surprised" by the quantity of the meat. previously had read reviews said that 200g was alot,... er but not for me i think. im petite but is a meat eater/lover and hence the quantity obviously was not enuf for me. but i wld say the qty was jus nice for the 50min u got to dine-in. kimchi is a miss for me as i prefered it to be sour den sweet. 300g rice was gd for me as i am a 饭桶 basically. nothng special abt the sauces to go wif the meat. lastly, i wld suggest not to order drink unless u're reali thirsty (otherwise u can go ntuc buy a drink aft ur vy quick bbq meal). one bottle of honey yuzu cost $2.50 which is not worth it n they do not give u cup/ice either. i do not tink i will patron agn lol.

Had the opportunity to try out this place with my mom, the queue system uses a QR platform that absolutely doesn't make sense since It doesn't give any notification or reminder that your number is approaching. We didn't know that initially so we had to keep tracking the queue number from our phones while walking around. We even went back to the place few times just to be sure but the queue was really slow. So we continued shopping nearby. Less than 10 minutes we realized our queue number was overshot by 4, when we went back the auntie told us usually once its overshot by 3 queue we will need to take a new queue number. This is a very lame system, who would always be on the screen looking at the number? The auntie proceeded to let the other customers in way after us just because their number is called. (compared to us who has been waiting for more than an hr). I feedback my experience to another waiter wai kit and he was nice enough to quickly offer us another seat. (yes there are actually seats inside). Food wise, to be honest I was kind of disappointed too. I ordered the wagyu set and the pork belly, the wagyu steak was too chunky and the meat was tough to chew. The miso soup is nice though. Total bill was 68 for both the same set. To be honest, pepper lunch taste way better and would only be a quarter of the cost.

Fast food version of self do bbq yakiniku. The decent variety of combo btw meats. U can upsize your meat portion to your own consumption. All the meats comes marinated with soup, a choice of salad and rice. 4 types of sauces for your liking at the table. Small little bbq stove for that easy cooking. U might want to give it a try for the cooking experience.

Fast food style BBQ Meats. The set is in small portion, is not enough for bigger guy. The meats taste good and fresh. Prepare to order more meats. Average should be 30 to 40 dollars. A time control is in place allow for 40 minutes per meal 2021 October.

The queuing system is a little odd (there's a QR system which you have to scan in with and track, don't just line up with others) but it's an attempt to make things easier so hopefully they'll improve on it and make it clearer. We visited early on a weekday so there was plenty of space. The food itself is excellent and the pricing is so reasonable it's unsurprising that the location is often crowded. Efficient and friendly service. Well worth it.
