Best Yakiniku restaurant in Singapore

J	Juju Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here many times but first time at Chijmes outlet to try their lunch set. The quality of the beef has always been decent considering it is a place that offers buffet so I’m not going to compare this to a place that specialises in Wagyu beef.
J	JYS on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ came to another Gyu-Kaku branch for yakiniku, can’t go wrong with its Kagoshima Premium Wagyu! it was super yummy!!?? the ambience was the best among all the eight branches that i have been visited. the service and spacing were good too.

Waiter “Haly” was as friendly and helpful as a prison door. Will never come again. She must love her job so much she makes you feel her pain by being as nice and courteous as a rabid dog.
P	Phoebe Ting on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mixed feelings about Gyu-Kaku. Most of the meats were quite delicious and we enjoyed our meal for the most part. What was quite lacklustre was the service - it was very, very slow to serve, incredibly difficult to get the attention of staff (in a place that was no where near full) and even when we did get their attention - they kept passing the responsibility of addressing us on to some one else (and then there was more waiting). Understandably they may have been down of service staff - but, it leaves a less than favourable desire to return soon. The food was pretty good though but for the price we paid in a place like CHIJMES, we expected the overall experience to be a little better!
O	Ondrej on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent yakiniku chain branch in lovely Chijmes. Small booths to snugg in, so pretty cosy. A big plus is that they use char coal instead of gas. However the smoky aroma in the grilled meat is not as strong as the fumes are sucked out below the table rather than by a chimeny above the grill as done in Japan. Ordered a couple of plates of Japanese wagyu cuts (karubi and tender loin). Both were of good quality but arived way too cold at the table. So I recommed to wait for some minutes to allow the meat to get to room temperature for best roasting results. Veggie side dishes such as kimchi and Japanese picked cabbage were pretty good. Loved the Asahi on tap, which came in big, super cold jugs.
y	yz huang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality meat for japanese bbq! Waiter and waitresses are prompt with serving the hot and cold tea but i was hoping they can provide more details on grilling these good meats. Butter scallop was really soso, suggest to order the half shelled scallop and beef platter
j	jx lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing bbq. We had the Japanese Wagyu premium platter, Kurobuta platter, garlic fried rice, scallops, prawns and kimchi pancake. Staff was attentive, we went there for a friend’s hens night, was expecting some special “service” but none, which was a little disappointingly but wells. The wagyu platter was simply ??? everything on it was so delicious, scallops were also very very good we truly enjoyed. Garlic fries rice was decent and a generous serving (the one Japan is still a lot nicer) Kurobuta platter was not bad, but it had a lot of porkbelly which we didn’t really like, so next time for the pork we would go for ala carte instead. The kimchi pancake was very underwhelming will skip next time too, prawns were ok, nth special. Overall really enjoyable meal.
P	Purely Paula on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love their lunch options! we ordered beef and pork sets (lower pricing from the wagyu beef) and they were both delicious! There really is something about charcoal grills that really get me excited! ✅ FUN FACT: the girls have downward ventilation system so the restaurant is not smoky at all!
