Young dude kept pestering me and told me to look for him only when I decide to buy. Even called me on my phone using his personal phone. I feel harassed. Wont ever come here again.

Wai Kei was very polite, helpful, patient and not pushy. Great service. The ladies behind the counter however were very curt.

I always frequent this outlet for my guitar needs and the staff is usually okay. However, today is whole different story altogether. I had to pop in to make an emergency purchase as I have a performance and I needed it urgently. Website stated the shop is open at 10am so I went at 10am. The shop was not fully lit but there were people at the counter. I politely asked if they were opened but the guy at the counter just said, “Can’t you read the sign outside?” I told him my situation and also explained that the website said they are open at 10am. All he said was, “No, no, no. 11, 11.” Well, okay then.

I visited Yamaha - Westgate Branch on the 16th of September 2020, looking for Yamaha's Reface series keyboards. I was rudely greeted by a female staff member by a grunting noise. When I enquired regarding the keyboard, she did not spare any effort to look up for any information regarding keyboard's availability, instead asking me to wait for her colleague. After waiting 10-15 minutes, a male staff member arrived. I directed the same enquiry to the male staff member and received a quasi-confused, quasi-annoyed look. I am assuming that the male staff member "looked down" on me, not believing that me, an unassuming young male, would be able to purchase such a "high-ticket item". Following stating my intention to purchase a Reface DX, he had a switch in personality and started being cordial and receptive to my questions. I did end up buying the Reface DX, but hope that customer service personnel manning this Yamaha Branch are committed in providing good and consistent customer service to all visitors, regardless of age. I would honestly suggest visiting other Yamaha stores (i.e. Plaza Singapura), in place of this branch as I have received leagues better customer service from employees there, without buying a high-ticket item as such.

Excellent and attentive service by Mr Loh Wai Kei. Had a chance to try the various pianos.

The counter staffs there need training in etiquette. Even after years, you will almost always be greeted with their unhappy faces. Quite snobbish at times too, wonder why. As several others have echoed the same views.

Happy with my purchase and service from a young man at the outlet today. According to my receipt, his name should be Brayden. Patient and very helpful.

Superb showroom with friendly and helpful staff. It displays the most recent models of reach instrument and they will describe about the current and any future discounts that would apply for the item. Also they will clearly point out if the item in display is outdated or discontinued. You can request them to try play the item yourself and they will try their best to arrange it for you. The showroom is not that spacious but it has virtually every thing displayed.
