SingtelのプリペイドSIMを購入しました。近所のSIM屋では15ドル額面のプリペイドSIMを20ドルで売り付けられそうになり。お断りしてこちらへ。 フェアーサービス、普通の対応です。ローカル電話番号が無いとSingpassの申請が出来ないので急遽買いに行って、ブン・ケンのコミニュティ・クラブでパスワードを申請です。手続き時間は、ほんの少ししか掛かりませんでしたが本題の住所登録ができませんでした。

Changed screen once for 150, screen spoiled and made me pay $80 to change again and the screen spoiled again and they want 170 to change again. Ridiculous. Btw did nothing wrong on my part

My bad for not checking out rates at other places but find the prices overpriced for repair. $80 for removal and replacement of sim tray which broke. Subsequently when I check online prices usually ranged from $30 to $40.

This is truly a mixed review. TL;DR - make sure you ask if the experienced technician is around. make sure you ask if they have stock. check everything. communicate only with the manager (phone number on google). The shop staff were not fully honest. The manager was helpful and sincere. Can go? Only if you communicate with the manager and the experienced technician is around. Warning: Long review. Day 1 - I called the phone number and inquired on repair for an Ipad Mini 3. The manager speaks very good English and responded that they are able to do the repair. The price was also very competitive - the best I'd found actually. Impressed by the manager and the price, I headed down to the Kovan outlet that evening. There were two bilingual (EL and CL) staff. Both spoke much better Chinese than English. The technician (male staff) was unable to locate the required parts (LCD) and claimed them to be out of stock. Then he proceeded to check if it could be charged - the screen lit up upon inserting the lightning cable, so he could conclude that it was not a charging port of battery issue. He rummaged the drawers again but could not locate a Mini 3 LCD, told me it was out of stock. Then he claimed my ipad is a Mini 4 ... and he checked the model number before sheepishly returning it to me. I texted the phone number and got a call back half an hour later informing me that there was stock, but the relief technician could not find it ... by then, I was 30mins away. By the time I return, it would be their closing time. Day 2 - I called the number to confirm stock and that the technician is able to fix it. Manager confirmed it. I headed down to have it fixed. Technician proceeds to fix the screen - since the approx repair time is 30mins, I headed off to run some errands. Returned to receive the Ipad with the LCD replaced - Screen protector cracked but they did not mention it. I accept it would likely crack due to the process of replacing the LCD, but they could have mentioned it. I tried unlocking it and mis-enter one digit of my PIN. The ipad gets disabled for 15mins - this only happens after multiple failures. The first disable is 1 min, then 5 mins, then 15mins. They tried to unlock my ipad? Then the bummer hits - the ipad was unable to charge - lightning connector earpiece wouldn't work either. Called the manager - no answer. called the receipt phone number - not in use. Called the paynow number - no answer. texted the manager about the lightning connector problem. no response. the lady (paynow number) at the Kovan shop called back and claimed we broke the charging port and accused them of it. denied all responsibility. asked the technician if he tested the charging port the night before - the technician said "no, never check. Then proceed to say your LCD spoil, how to see if can charge or not. (but he concluded there was no issue when the spoiled screen lit up upon connecting the charger). Basically he lied lah. The manager eventually called back to understand the problem. I have to compliment her as she is definitely trying hard to help her business succeed but her workers aren't. The manager accepted that it may have been due to the repair process and offered a completely free diagnosis and repair of the port. She also confirmed that her full-time, experienced, technician would be around to assist. Her gesture and sincerity is commendable - which is why this is not a one star review. However, given the distance, I refused it - I don't plan on travelling another hour for this ipad. Day 3 - I brought the ipad to a colleague who is a former technician - he assessed it and found some dry, hard, translucent residue covering two pins in the lightning port. Removed the residue with angled tweezers and cleaned the pins with solvent. ipad charges fine now. His conclusion was that some adhesive used to secure the lcd/screen got into the connector port.

Phone repair shop just next to the main entrance to kovan mall. Thought my screen crack and went to them, end up is just a screen protector crack. Screen protector is cheaper then the previous shop i bought from at rivervale plaza. Friendly repairman and sales person
