★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happen to be here to run some errands, chance upon this stall selling Teochew fishball noodle at the coffeeshop at blk 644 Hougang ave 8. This coffeeshop is just right next to a secondary and primary School. Noodle starts from SGD$3 onwards, apart from the fishball minced meat noodle, they also served a few other types of noodle like kway teow soup as well as laksa.
Portion was quite generous even though it was only SGD$3. Noodle was nicely cooked, texture was springy. Sauce was well balanced, right amount of sauce and lard. Ingredient was pretty common, tasted exactly like most place.
Overall, i think they served pretty decent noodle, would patronise if i am in the vicinity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Felt that the bak chor Mee soup is average, the dry chilli is not strong enough, perhaps good for daily meal, but nothing very notable. The fried meatballs is also not handmade so it’s probably frozen. Laksa is not bad though. Auntie is very nice though.

BCM $3.50 can eat, no mushroom and liver, quite a bit of lean meat, minced pork, 2 fishballs and fishcake slices.
Fish dumpling soup $5 for 7pcs nice and plump. Would have liked the soup piping hot though.
