Apex Veterinary Clinic - 462 River Valley Rd

It was our third time at the vet and the past experiences were great except this time with Dr J (shall not name full name). Our pet is medium breed and was quite nervous when it met her and ran about in circles. It would have been alright once we carried it on high table. What we were most dumbfounded by was how the young doctor looked apprehensive to approach our pet and was scared it bites. We would be okay with placing it on mouthguard or collar but none was suggested neither was nurses called. Our pet was not known to be hard to handle he will calm down after a while and doesn’t bite. It was limping on one feet and we needed it to be examined and after a while she managed to do so but could not give any diagnosis on whether it’s worsened Luxating patella or it was an injury. We were only told to monitor. From understanding more experienced doctors can suggest if it’s knee slip but we left without any diagnosis. We were so concerned and yet there was nothing we could do and we were also annoyed to be charge for consultation fee when examination and diagnosis was not provided. Her exact reason was along the lines of resigned: I could not examine it as I couldn’t touch it to examine the cause… Regretted our decision to rush the appointment for Dr J we should have waited for the other vets it was more familiar with. In sum please get more experienced vets. The management was disappointing too as they fail to get back to us on the issue after our complaint

One of the best vets in Singapore, they were the only ones who had the specific medication in stock for our dog and willing to source and supply for us. The staff is courteous, professional, reliable, and responsive for all matters, small or big, for our dogs. Thank you for your support.

Definitely worth a visit. From the nurses to the vet we met, Dr Gen, everyone has been both friendly and professional. It's been a very nice experience, will definitely be our go to vet from now on.

After doing some research I have finally settled with Apex Vet clinic, I have been to multiple Vets and they all do not meet my expectations , some oversell by doing unnecessary scans , meds, injections and blood test which puts my dog through unnecessary stress, others contradict on what they say each time we visit , I have visited multiple vets clinic all over the island (no exaggeration) some even overcharged which is okay, if they also provide the necessary professionalism, but they don’t. Apex Vet is different , I can feel the professionalism from the moment i step into the clinic, their Vets and Nurse are extremely professional , caring and detailed in their explanation and only do what is necessary, never putting my dog through any unnecessary stress. This is hands down the best Vet I have been to out of the many I have visited. The Vet I have met is Dr Natasha Snowden. FYI.

We’ve been to a few vets before settling with Apex. They are so good with our dog Gellie. It’s clear they care about his well-being. The consultations are very clear and they usually offer options, not just one set path. The front desk customer service is brilliant. They conveniently send through receipts via WhatsApp and reply quickly to any queries you ask of them. Honestly couldn’t recommend them enough!

I called Apex vet out of desperation as i could no longer trust my previous vet An***l Inf*****y. I am glad I called Apex as they showcased how an animal healthcare professional should be. The head nurse Sarah took my call when i was asking for a second opinion, post second surgery due to infection from the first surgery. Though i am not their customer, Sarah was asking questions about my dog's condition, truly concerned for his well-being. Sarah was also patient, professional, and reassuring as i vented to her how disappointed i was with my other vet. Thank you Sarah. I really appreciate your kindness then. I managed to get an appt with Dr Mel a few days later. It was one of the best decision as Dr Mel was also patient, kind and professional. My two visits with them was very pleasant as they understood the needs of reactive dogs and made accommodation to make everything more bearable for the humans and animals. Thank you Dr Mel and Sarah!

Appointment making was a breeze; instructions for my cats neutering was explained clearly. They also sent reminders through their WhatsApp business account; which is handy. The clinic is really clean and well maintained! The staff are friendly and Dr Joanna did a splendid job explaining to us the process and handled all our questions. We were kept updated throughout and when we received Milo back; the after-care info was well explained and clear. Overall I felt the clinic was really professional in their conduct and the staff are all friendly!

This old man was having a very bad skin allergy. His younger brother suddenly developed a cough. Went to Towns Vet and spent almost $1.5k on both dogs but no improvement at all. Brought them both to visit Dr Nicholas for just one consultation. He prescribed Apoquel for this old man and an inhaler medication for the younger brother. After a month or so, they miraculously recovered! I am so grateful to Dr Nicholas and the team at Apex Vet Clinic ? A big big thank you! 100% recommend!
