Fantastic service from Ms Janet from customer service. When asked to for the no of counts for diagnostic led blinking on the fridge I told I would call back and she call me back and offered me to call my house to find out. She arranged for service on the same day. What made it even great was the technician who came over at about 9pm was very helpful and patient. Great job.

was there to change my humidifier filters. Yen was so helpful and friendly. he helped me lift up the heavy purifier/humidifier and dissemble the parts for checking. After everything, he helped me bring down the humidifier and squeeze into the luggage for me. Also like to say thanks to Yeu for being so helpful too in finding/changing the filters and giving me tips to maintain my humidifier.

Unreliable front load $849 washer. Barely 2years brushed motor faulty (code F25), dampers oil leak (2 normal cycle usage/weekend) Free gift 16inch stand fan touch button panel spoilt in just 10months use. Unreliable 2door $995 fridge. Just barely 1y 6mth whole fridge just shut down and came back to life on its own after 1week with power still on when its dead. Checked the fuse ok and PCB no burn marks. Encounter one occassion fridge not cold and water drip in fridge and freezer compartment. Very upset n stranded with frozen food on saturday morning. These 3 are my last hitachi. Ended up purchased a 2nd Mitsubishi fridge with same day delivery to stand in.

Hitachi 6 door (RS6800) had ice form around a pipe at the back of the fridge. It was 6pm and I wrote an email to Hitachi customer care. Mark called me at 9am the next day and 2 technicians came to service the fault. My neighbors were holding my CNY meats and I was grateful that the issue was resolved same day.

I have a fridge that keeps getting condensation. First o was told its because of opening the door too much, then on 2nd reading I was told the dats is now good but its normal for refrigerators to have this kind of issue and that I don't jave an aircon in my kitchen so it's fine and that I should just clean it with cloth everyday. I am truly upset with this. Although, theu jave after much back and forth agreed to a one on one exchange, I am being asked to sign a form to give up my right to file or complaint. Truly sad experience. I .being put in a situation where I have recieved a defected product and now being asked to sign this form Have been throwing away tons of food because of this.

Hitach fridge product was purchase close to half a year ago thtough gaint city. Door issue and leakage and many other that comes with it were found out not long after. Service team came and check and reviewed as defective. When asked about door/compartment issue, was replied all our door are defective. Like wow ?‍♂️ Was asked to wait for door replacement to come and to be installed on a new fridge and then replaced the current full unit. This tax invoice for replacement has gone about close to 3 months. Was promised and guaranteed an est for last week but no answer at all when calling them whole week. Call the service guy oso no pick up. Call gain city to rush them oso no use they can only help call the same hotline that doesn't pick up even after waiting for several minutes. The seriousness of this issue is, imagine months of defective fridge, the food stock you purchase and what not all gone to waste. Nothing is being done. Whose responsibility is this? Can we ask for such compensation? We have been very patience and big hearted to not make such a big scene cause we just wanted this thing to be resolved, ASAP. Please do not take our daily life as granted. Looking at the past reviewers you guys either have a management that doesn't care + your upper executives didn't know or the whole of Hitachi are just paper generals. Please do not ask me to write in, you want just input a number for me to call for direct solution.

Unbelievable. I was told that Hitachi cannot commit to their delivery date of my newly purchase fridge. Hitachi had loan me a fridge, which is in a bad condition. As one of the legs had came off, their logistic team told us that this is their design and comment nothing was wrong. They had pushed the damaged fridge into the compartment, scratching my floor. I have not even move in to my new house, already scratches on my floor... =( How can you loan a badly damaged fridge to your consumer?

The worst after sales service you can get. Paid so much for their made in Japan 6 door fridge but their compressor spoilt just after 5 years. Our fridge broke down on Saturday and There was no 24 hour hotline for us to call through, and we had to wait till Monday to get hold of someone from Hitachi to repair the fridge and another day to send a replacement fridge. We were initially told that the fridge will be repaired within 4-6 weeks, but when we called Hitachi today to check on the status as it has already been about 3 weeks, we are now told that the repair will take about 8 to 12 weeks instead. Very ridiculous repair time, when asked why is the repair time so long, the Hitachi hotline told us because of covid, more of their fridge broke down. You mean the fridge also got covid? What a senseless answer to be given. I’m pregnant and will be due in about 2 months, Hitachi cannot even confirm a date that we can have our fridge back. The replacement fridge is so small, we can’t even fit sufficient things inside for ourselves and our children let alone the ingredients for my confinement and also breast milk. The replacement fridge is so full now, it is not even cold and we have to put many more items in our neighbour’s fridge. But Hitachi customer care team doesn’t seem to care and told me just WAIT BECAUSE OTHER PEOPLE HAD SENT THEIR FRIDGE BACK FOR REPAIR EARLIER THAN ME. So now it’s my problem that we fridge spoilt later than the rest ? There’s a problem with Hitachi fridge. Will not recommend for anyone who is looking for a fridge. Doesn’t even deserve one star on the review.
