Wonderful products, never had problems with the staff so far

I bought a silk pillowcase and silk eye masks on 17 Nov but had to return the pillowcase because after using the eye mask, realise it was not suitable for my skin. So I returned it the next day. They were prompt in the return and told me it would be credited back in 7 days. Long story short, it has now been over three weeks. Had I not called them after 10 days, no one would have noticed that they took my item back and held my money. Staff said they will remind their australian counterpart. Having worked in retail, usually this is a simple POS return from the ATM machine but sure. Called back in 14 days to give them time to sort out their admin. Guy was polite but claimed they tried to call me back and quoted another ladies' details. I was like. How can you claim to be calling me back when I was not asked for my phone number? But he was on it and said that he will personally email Australia and get it sorted. He called back the next day and said Australia will get it sorted because they have "not started on my refund" (after over 2 weeks when it was promised to be returned within 7 days) I was annoyed but staff (Ian) was a nice guy. But it is now over three weeks. Have not seen my refund. Receipt stated that refund will be happily done in 14 days and refunds should be easy for the customer. Product was returned the next day after purchase. Yet so much ding donging, over 3 weeks and nothing done. Lucky I checked my bank account. If I had assumed they would have settled it, they would have simply kept my money and the return! Understand right now is work from home but don't overpromise and then never deliver!

Used to like this store. But my recent trip has changed my opinion. Rude and completely disinterested staff. They walk away on some pretense to help another customer and never come back, then if you are lucky to find another one they have no patience to help you browse the items that are kept on topmost most shelf ( where you cannot reach except with the help of a ladder ) . If you dare to find out if there is any discount on another item in store you will be met with more rudeness and shown the sign that indicates the discounted price with much disgust. And if you do persist and reach the cashier he will not even ask you if you are a member or not and try and quickly finish the transaction. All this in one day's experience is enough to make me think it is after all not worth putting myself through as a customer. Very very disappointed and hope the management takes some action to rectify the attitude of the staff and therefore the shopping experience of the customer.
