β β β β β Lousy service @Nex Bengawan. The staff is rude and not hygienic when handling mooncakes.. wear same plastic glove to open the containers, touch the mooncakes, boxes then mooncakes...
She should just use plastic glove only when handle mooncakes!

β β β β β If you think you'll be getting those nice thick slices of swiss roll you pointed to in the display, think again. In a surprise move, they'll be taking from a hidden storage somewhere below the display and you'll be paying for pathetic, thin and/or messed slices instead.

I want to complain a female clerk in Bengawan Solo, Nex. About 30 years old, thin and wearing glasses.
I bought a box of 6pcs Pandan cakes in the same store before. So I told the clerk to see if itβs available or not.
But she told me thereβs no product like that in very bad attitude, even did not want to pack from the tray for me.
I asked her again to pack 2pcs for me. She even did not want to serve me. I talked to her again, then she packed it for me reluctantly, even throw the packed cake to counter directly.
Does Bengawan Solo can accept this kind of staff? Hope you can improve the staff trainings.

Update: ordered a cake for my child's bday, the cake was delivered 2h late from stated delivery slot of 9am to 12pm (only arrived at my place at 2pm) Pls avoid delivery service as it is horrible, do a self collect.

β β β β β Food at Bengawan Solo are all the same across the nation as they are distributed by their suppliers. What truly makes a huge difference is their customer service. I was truly disgusted by a rude customer during my recent visit to Nex BS; it was because of the result of their incompetent staff βencouragingβ poor and unacceptable behavior. I was at the Nex BS store making my purchase and a rude 50βish Chinese Singaporean man cut in front of me to make his purchase, totally ignoring that there was a lineup. Instead of sending the customer to the back of the line, the sales lady told me itβs ok, cos he was probably in a rush! How rude and how unprofessional. Is this Singaporeanβs normal behavior or is the customer and the staff at this location a disgrace to the nationβs great reputation? Shame on both of them!
