Interesting cuts of steak offered daily. We had the denver and delmonica cuts. The denver steak was underdone, but soft and flavourful. The clams with sake is as flavourful as we had previously.

Food was awesome and greatly priced, the decor and the view was very nice and comfortable too. However, the service staff can be improved. The queue had many groups of 2s and 4s. But as long as the next in line is a group of 2, and they only have table for 4, they won’t sit anyone down. So by the time there was a table for 2 available, we walked into a restaurant with AT LEAST 8 empty tables of 4. I felt like the people queueing behind me didn’t have to wait 40 minutes, you could’ve definitely sit them down first while waiting for a table of 2 for us. Meanwhile both the service staff had nothing much to do, either standing idle or walking around slowly doing nothing much.

Compared to a steak you'd order in a random western restaurant, the prices here are substantially higher. However, that's because the quality of steak is different too. It has the right amount of flavour, fat, and cooked exactly the way you requested it. Not to mention the 2 side dishes and the ice cream at the end.

The service was slow and not considerate - the staff didn’t tell those in queue that some cuts were already out of stock, and didn’t communicate the waiting time to those who were waiting until they were at the counter. However, the steaks were unbelievably well-cooked. My husband had the medium rare and I had the medium done, and we were both very impressed.

Sirloin (med rare) and wagyu don bowl. Not sure exactly what I was expecting, but I feel like if I wanted steak I would rather just pay more to go eat at wolfgang steakhouse, which is considerably more pricey but would be more satisfying. At this portion and flavour, it would be frankly better to buy and sear a steak myself, or head to their astons branch for chicken/pork. Wagyu don bowl was tasty and a large portion, but for a place that touts affordable wagyu beef I would say either sate cheap lunch cravings at a franchise western outlet or head to an atas restaurant. Mid range wagyu has no appeal.

Good steak! Decent price. Had 220g ribeye cooked to medium rare. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The fries were fantastic! Very thin - thinner than Macdonald's - and ever so lightly battered. It was superbly light and crisp. The steamed broccoli was meh. A little over cooked for my liking, and the sauce was weird. Would have preferred a lighter/ brighter tasting dressing that could contrast the richness of the steak and fries. Would not order that side again, but would be back for the beef. On a side note, they were playing early 2000s pop music?? Made for a very weird ambience. Didn't match the decor and cuisine. Complimentary ice cream was a nice touch, but it tasted cheap and not worth finishing. All in all it seems like a restaurant that could be more classy for their budget and intentions, but the whole experience seems clumsily put together.

Finally decided to try this place as I have been a long time supporter of Aston’s and would usually order the Wagyu. The Wagyu ribeye here is definitely fattier than the one I usually have at Aston’s. On first bite it was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. I like that you have the option to go for a petite 150g or standard 220g. I opted for the petite Wagyu ribeye rare as I wanted to order a chawanmushi appetiser. I love the chawanmushi it is so soft and smooth, only wishing there was a bigger size! The baked potato here is also huge! Was here around 3-4pm for a late lunch and it was totally empty which was a plus for me as I prefer my quiet. Would come back again.

Never fail to have my steak done deliciously at this place. As it’s a located at a secluded area, it felt like a secret dining place to escape the crowd. Each time I’m here, I feel a little fomo as certain cuts of the day are usually sold out when I come for lunch. When I visited on 26 Feb around lunch time, there were only three cuts of meat available among all the cuts shown on the menu. Most of the sake were not available anymore. However, I was able to enjoy a delicious cold Sapporo Beer with a premium beef cut I ordered. My partner and I also enjoyed the chawamushi and the clams dish they offer. After our meal, staff would promptly let us choose a cold ice cream to wrap up the meal
