Cafe Found

My friends and I went to the cafe at around 6:30pm and ordered the miso brownie, mango shortcake, iced hojicha latte, iced matcha latte and iced earl grey orange. It was our first time and we did not know what was good. We asked for recommendations from the cashier and she seemed unsure of the best sellers. Simply mentioned one of the items on the menu and that was it. Drinks were served without straws hence I proceeded to request for 3 straws. Entire service crew however passed off mocking remarks and were hesitant to give the 3 straws. I was confused as to why their customer service was as such when I asked for the straws with respect. Food was decent but customer service can be improved. Extremely unpleasant experience. Update: emailed them together with leaving this review but no response and emailed them again as they asked me to as a reply to this review but till today, no response at all. :-)

Only few tables available. But we were lucky to get the last order before they closed. Felt like being served as VIP , the whole place only left us. Haha. Desserts were serve on the silver plate, kind of special. Taste was normal. The staff was very polite and cheerful.

Aesthetic cafe vibes housed in the Editor’s market. Iced orange earl grey tea tasted amazingly fresh. Brownie was sweet but still fudge. Overall a lovely place to relax after shopping :).

The orange drink was very refreshing. The earl grey lavender loaf was slightly disappointing as it was very dry. Pear tart tasted better but not mind blown by it either. Overall it’s just aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and it’s a good place to chill with your friends and take instagrammable photos, but don’t have high hopes on the dessert.

Very very disappointed, ordered the wild honey green tea it cost $6.50 and it came in a small cup, with a lot of ice, taste was so so only. Chocolate cake is good but nothing fantastic, a slice cost $7

Usually do not write google reviews but my experience at Found was pretty unpleasant and upsetting. Hence I hope after leaving this review, they would do something about it to improve the service provided. Firstly, I would like to say that their pastries are quite good. The coffee was around $8 plus as I requested for oat milk, making it slightly pricey. Overall, had no issues with the food. However, customer service provided was quite disappointing. Upon walking to the shop, the staff took awhile to come out to direct us to a seat. Moreover when my friends and I were placing orders, the staff did not pay attention or respond to confirm the order until awhile later. While we were dining in there, 2 of the staff (one with bangs) were speaking really loudly and having private conversations the entire time. Working in customer service line, I do understand that once in a while work can get a little tiring and boring, so having conversations are alright. Nevertheless, the continuous use of profanities and vulgar language should not be heard by customers. Their actions affected our dining experience and really made it hard to enjoy our time there as every word of their conversation could be heard. All these made me wonder if proper training is provided for customer service to the staff there. Hope that this review would bring attention to those in-charge and make improvements to the service. Hope that when we visit next time, it would not be the same. Thank you.

I am disappointed with the portion whereby the bottom part of the cup has been lifted up and has squished down the ml, and now manually controlling the ml of milk does not even reach 80% of the cup. I asked the barista why it was so little milk, and she replied, "it is like this, we have to leave a gap for it." That is a big gap though. The milk is not even hot. This small cup of matcha cost $6, and I definitely won’t go back to this pricey cafe again.

Visited with zero expectations since this is a cafe by a fashion brand right? But wow I was pleasantly surprised! No complains on the service and the pastries were delicious. I appreciate that hey heat up my mushroom pastry, and the size of the cheesecake was quite big! The price of the coffee is on the higher side though. Their coffee taste better than some coffee places even! Can’t wait to go back to try other things on their menu too :)
