o	ordifolks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time having ponggol nasi lemak, and i am blown away by the quality of every ingredient on this simple plate of nasi lemak, even the anchovies ❤️ The rice is filled with coconut fragrance, the chicken drumstick and wing are fried to the perfect crisp and well-seasoned inside out. The peanuts and anchovies are the freshest, and i am such a big fan of their very lightly seasoned and battered anchovies. Definitely one of the best nasi lemak I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
P	P Chan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious crispy fried chicken paired with white rice infused with coconut milk. You can pick from the set meals or select the dishes. The hae bi hiam (dried minced shrimps) is tasty but quite spicy. The homemade fish cake is yummy too. But the best is the fried chicken wing. So crispy and juicy! The sets come with a few slices of cucumbers, fried anchovies, roasted peanuts and sambal chilli. A la carte include the dishes you select + slices of cucumbers and sambal chili. This is the best meal when you are really hungry. They serve you fast and it’s a very satisfying combination of Asian flavours.
S	Sel L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good, clean and air conditioned place to have nasi lemak. I loved that the eggs were fried to perfection, yolk still watery and the sides cripsy. Chicken also fried well, crispy although lacking flavour. Side dishes are pretty standard so no comment on those. Rice was fluffy and chilli quite good that day so I’m quite satisfied overall. One plate came up to about 10 dollars and I think this is quite reasonable. I would revisit given it’s convenient and comfortable location.

The regular uncle at cashier can be a little friendlier will be nice :) They also serve local coffee which goes well.
F	Faye Cheang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying Punggol Nasi lemak and it was surprisingly good. Long queue because of dinner time. The chicken was so crispy and not oily. The rice was good and the sambal is so so. Order at the counter and collect your food. They will call the number and just be prepared and wait around the counter in case they called your number and you were away too far/ didn’t notice. I have the least expectation and it turned out good perhaps I was starving. Good try and should try this Singapore style nasi lemak.
M	Michelle Lam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nasi Lemak is a dish coming found in Malaysia. It means fatty/oily rice relating to “creamy rice”. It usually contains rice, egg, anchoives and peanuts as the base. We went to Capitol Singapore hoping to have So Good but the queue is too long. We ended up trying Cafe Ponggol Nasi Lemak and it’s a wonderful experience! It’s like an indoor hawker centre with AC. You can order a set which includes a drink and nasi Lemak or order a la carte to satisfy your cravings. We got two sets. One with prawns and fish as adds on. One with chicken wings. Chicken wings and prawns are very crispy, juicy and not oily. I really like the crispy fish. The egg is still runny and perfectly cooked. As I’m not a local, people usually find sambal spicy. Surprisingly, I find it not too spicy. My family just leave out the sambal. Unfortunately, I think the rice is not creamy enough. The milk tea goes well with the dish. The price is around $7 which is super affordable. A perfect place to try this Singaporean style Nasi Lemak near downtown Singapore. Follow @michocolll on instagram for more foodie review!
