★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unsurprising good food. Nice ambience and all the food were ? and fast. Waiter and waitresses respond to our requests quickly and politely. A big thumbs up to you guys! Along with the food, the environment is excellent; nice and comfortable. It was our first time coming to Soup Restaurant this year expecting a nice meal and a good impression they left with us indeed!

Food is good; standard Soup Restaurant taste and quality. Hygiene and service however, is minimal..as we were finishing our Samsui Chicken, we found a ‘blue thing’ embedded in a slice, so we called for the staff. He then looked, and said casually ‘Oh yea its from the kitchen staff glove’- we continued to stare at him, then he took a pair of chopsticks from his tray (he was clearing another table before this) and attempted to dig the ‘blue thing’ out. This continued for a while and after he succeeded, he pushed the plate back to us..and we were ‘Er nope we’re done you can clear that’. He then cleared it and walked off..
As you can see from our receipt, we were still charged for it not ‘FOC’ on top, its the SGD38 set below with the soup..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dined alone. Ordered a small portion of steamed chicken and rice, it may be to much for some people but it was just nice for me. Satisfied. As an early bird (before 12.30pm), entitled 15% off on food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had lunch here while doing our shopping. Spacious and rather empty during our visit. All the dishes are quite well done with very reasonable price. Cant find fault with any. The only thing is servers are not really friendly and rather going through the motion at work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to dine at for a family gathering. All the dishes are flavourful and they go really well with rice. The chicken was soft and succulent. Lettuce that comes with chicken gives it a refreshing taste. Do request for some sambal chilli if you want to add a little spicy kick to it! hometown tofu was fried to a nice texture. Spinach with eggs has a good balance of taste between spinach and different types of eggs. Radish soup nicely brewed and comes with lots of radish and carrots. Overall a great spot to go for a hearty Chinese meal!
