My family & I had an enjoyable 3-hr pottery session here. The instructors are friendly and approachable with great customer service ? Can't wait to collect the end products!

Pottery at Common Touch is one of the highlights of my week! Currently in my fifth cycle and learning so much every week. Zestro and Fyon are visibly passionate about their craft and will patiently guide my friends and I!

A lovely place to start learning pottery and making cute wares for your friends and family. Very patient and helpful instructors. Signed up for 3 cycles (12 lessons) and managed to produce enough cups and bowls for all my friends last Christmas ? each class session is easily booked via their wix app. Perfect hobby to take up ??

Absolutely love this studio! Both the owners are not only skillful and knowledgeable but also very friendly and patient. I’m allowed to learn at my own pace and create works that are uniquely mine. The studio is also bright, airy and clean! What started as a trial lesson, turned into a weekly therapeutic hobby.

I booked a pottery workshop for my daughter and her friends for her birthday. The studio is lovely but best suited to adults. It is a 3 hr session with no breaks built in for a drink or snack, so not ideal for children. The only time slot is 11am to 2 pm so you really do need a break with a late lunch.

My friends and I have been through a couple of cycles of the RAW package. Fyon and Zestro are also present to guide us when we need their help and are keen to teach us what we would like to craft. I also enjoy the flexibility these sessions provide, allowing me to work on different skills at my own pace and with my own space.

Been to quite a number of studios, and decided to commit to the rent-a-wheel package with common touch. The founders Zestro and Fyon are not only skilful, but patient and are great coaches for both kids and adults. The whole team is friendly and has helped us tremendously on our learning journey. Definitely recommend them for all parents and keen pottery learners! ?

The group had an enjoyable time mostly. Pros: - It was a light, airy and bright place and the young instructors were friendly and knowledgeable. - As part of the package, you are given 4 small lumps of clay at the throwing wheel, and 1 lump at the hand crafting session. - There are paints available at the hand crafting section for you to be as creative as you can be. - There are several wheel throw areas, and ample washing up points. - Size of classes (currently based on Covid restrictions) are okay, at about 4-1 or 5-1. - Paid parking is easily available within the compound. Cons: - Yes, it is a business but we felt the focus was too much on the commercial aspect. Staff kept stressing charges, and were happy when a couple of the group opted for an extra clay for $28. As these members had more clay, they were given more attention and time by the instructor. - You are given a free wheel thrown completed piece, but each additional one costs $8, and colour glazing cost $8 each. - We were looking forward to the wheel throwing portion, but most felt rushed as the instructor mostly created the pieces and we did not really have any practice in centering and firming the clay on the wheel, which is a basic step. n fact, our three hour session was concluded just past two hours. Yes, I understand that if we overwork the clay, there is a high chance that the pieces will crack in the kiln. Perhaps the instructor was trying to minimize that risk but it would still have been more fun for us to try our hand. The group wheel throwing session took only about 15 minutes. With this introductory experience, the consensus was that the group did not have full enjoyment or interest to take up more pottery experiences.
