I rarely give 3 stars but kinda felt like I had to. The lamp shoulder meat was just bad, the coconut chicken based soup base turned red and was overly sweet. The meatballs were nothing to write home about and the price was expensive. Easily >$150 for 2 pax, seafood buffets at 5* hotels and $2x per pax all you can eat hotpots at places like Bugis would be so much more worth it.

It was a much anticipated visit but I was let down in so many ways. Environment The table was a bit small and I had to cramp the dishes together. The chair was a bit far from the table and I had to pull it closer to the table. But that led to the legroom becoming a bit small so I had to sit sideway with my legs slanted. They were playing lounge music in a dimly lit place with Eastern furniture and Western lightings serving hotpot. I couldn't appreciate the design concept. Food I ordered the mala soup and chicken coconut soup. Mala soup was not tasty and I had to add quite a lot of salt on my own. The chicken soup with coconut didn't work for me. It was quite off and I removed the coconut slices and also added salt to make it more tasty. The only appetiser dishes at the sauce pantry were seaweed and another dish which I couldn't make out what it was. The sauces were surprisingly subpar. The chilli paste 沙茶酱 was not as tasty as the one from the other Taiwanese hotpot place. The soy sauce was not salty!! The saving grace was the Thai chilli sauce that made everything tasted good. The jumbo dumpling was not impressive. However, the meat was fresh and that's expected. Nothing stand out as very special or tasty. I ordered the fresh oyster but they had not served it. Cold beverage They only sell bubble tea. No soft drinks or juices. Service They were clearing the rubbish while the customers were dining. One staff was pushing the big rubbish bin down the aisle and it knocked into the cupboard at my table. So suddenly I was surprised by the sight and smell of 2 rubbish bags in front of me while I was eating. Separately, a few service staff were talking and joking loudly among themselves at some point. It's perhaps better if they could do it discreetly. They however had regularly came to my table and asked if we would like to have more soup added. Overall, a disappointing experience. I wouldn't visit again.

My current go to for a good hotpot experience. Food were of good quality. This is further supported by a good ambience which serves as a good backdrop for an enjoyable experience. This is my third time here and would come back again soon!

Interesting mix between the hotpot and brewed teas, the furnishing and crockery all look exquisite and majestic. Food quality was not too bad as well, fresh and lots of ingredients per serving. Worth a visit.

Been to their Suntec outlet initially and it wasn’t really a good experience, but this outlet at Jewel is vastly different. The level of service here is much better, and the staffs are very attentive and helpful! Especially one of the older uncle working there was extremely friendly and made the whole experience wonderful. Food was good, and the coconut chicken soup was amazing, especially if you add all the vegetables inside!! This time round it was much better and made me feel that my money was well spent! I think the Suntec outlet needs to learn a thing or two from their Jewel counterpart! I look forward to their new outlet in i12 Katong which is so much closer to home! Great job!

Food is good and fresh. Milk tea is superb. Service is good. Lighting a bit too dark. Avoid ordering the coconut chicken soup cos it tastes like coconut juice and doesn’t really blend well with hot pot ingredients. A normal chicken soup will do wonder without the gimmicky tricks.

You can feel the high end ambience at this restaurant. Good food quality. And portion is quite generous, good for 4-5pax. Ordered fish with sichuan pickles soup base and fresh mushrooms soup base. Came with generous portion of 10-12 slices of fish and glass noodles. Worth a try. Overall I will rate it 4.5. Food 4.5, ambience 5.0, service 4.0.

Truly a nice Taiwanese style hotpot with a lot of the ingredients from Taiwan! The tomato broth is so flavorful with bovine-infused taste. The dishes were so beautifully presented and fresh too. And really love the bubble tea! Generous portion of milk tea and soft pearls. Would definitely come back again ?
