I have been a loyal crumpler customer for many years and have owned multiple of their bags. After this experience, I think I will look elsewhere. I bought a backpack recently and within about a month, I noticed that the stitching on both straps were fraying. This obviously isn’t great product QC, but fine, defects happen and their products have been great in the past so maybe it’s a one off. I thought they would replace the product without issue. Instead they told me they would repair it, but instead of just dropping it off at one of their stores, I had to bring it to a third party repair store halfway across the island. So I made time to go, despite my mild irritation and gave Crumpler some slack given my positive experiences with them in the past. Once I got there the line was insanely long (they service multiple luggage brands) and it became clear I could not get this done that day with the time I had budgeted. So I had to return home and come back another day with more time. Finally, I had to return a second time and stand in line for ages to be told the repair would take two weeks. In hindsight I should have just brought it into a seamstress near my house or just thrown the bag away and gotten another one from another brand. Would have cost less than the time and money it took to repair a $100+ bag that broke within a few weeks. My third crumpler bag, and sad to say will be my last.

Nice store, the staff was very helpful and polite in my queries. The prices of sale items here match the online store, even the sale items, but the store also has an additional 10% off with a purchase of 2 items. Happy with my purchase of a cabin size luggage bag from here, just that the actualy weight of the luggage is slightly more than indicated.
