Very good mala hot pot in Cheng Du style. Must try the spicy soup with butter. A lot of choices of organs. The spicy beef for hot pot is also surprisingly good, tender. Recommended and will definitely return.

This is my third visit! Best mala soup base, better than HDx. The Singapore mala literally can drink as soup base. Yumz

Authentic chengdu style hotpot taste. This was a repeat visit and I am just as satisfied as my first visit. The soup spice level is slightly spicier than equivalent levels elsewhere.

Soup taste much better than Hai Di Lao. Environment and decoration reminds me of eating steamboat in China. Food are fresh but the only complaint I have is the lack of food choices. The variety is not as much as I expected. Overall nice experience and price is reasonable at such a location.

One of the better spicy butter soup bases in SG. Herbal chicken soup is nothing fantastic. If u have an average spicy tolerance and it's ur first time visiting, suggest to go for the lowest spice tier. Prices of the ingredients are quite expensive. Overall, still worth a try for the butter soup base.

The 辣 is there for the Mala soup, but the 麻 element is lacking, despite opting for the "chengdu spicy" level. Medicinal Chicken soup base was decent but nothing mindblowing. Portion is a little small for the price which makes overall bill a tad pricey. Spent more than I normally do at HDL. Overall a decent experience but may not visit again.

Knowing full well that this isn’t as great as it used to be, we still decided to pop by for another hope that it is as great as before. But unfortunately, it wasn’t living up to its great name of being the best mala hotpot in town.. ? Mala broth was crazy oily, albeit because we chose the butter option, it was unbearable after the meal. There also wasn’t the numbing effect from the soup (mild spicy level), can’t really call it Mala in that case.. Mushroom soup seems to be the best one out there, but again we had our reservations as to how it can be this good with just mushrooms, can’t put together what the spices and hidden ingredients that made up this seemingly amazing soup. ? the meat selection was okay, but wasn’t really off the roof in terms of quality for the price that we are paying ($14-$17 per plate, for just normal pork slices) ? the remaining of the dishes were just meh, with the Ring Roll deserving a call out because it was so disastrously poor in quality.. ⭐️ we had to resort to making excuses to why it deserved 2 stars instead of 1, and this is apparent that they don’t deserve the second star in this case. All in all, despite the warm welcome of smell upon exiting the lift that serves the 8th level, the results weren’t great in any aspect. Would definitely hope they can improve on the broth and ingredients to what it was 2-3 years back ??

The clear oil soup base is good … something different from the rest … mild spicy and full of spice aroma . The menu is limited and not cheap. Ingredient is fresh but for that price could have serve a better quality meat . Service is not impressive. One kitchen runner , one server to serve everything for the whole restaurant , one to clear the whole restaurant table , front counter cashier is vacant all the time. All orders through QR. And the only server will transform to be the cashier when time to bill. Otherwise it’s not easy to get any attention when you need to request for things like refilling of water , extra chilli etc… so get all you need when they first come to your table..
