Honolulu is One of the few cha Chan teng style cafes that has good overall range of hk food Not much changed since they opened a few years, today had the tomato soup based macaroni with all the toppings added Also added peanut butter French toast , which turned out to be too much for one person Overall still kept their standards Wanted to get the egg tarts but it was already sold out

Authentic HK char chan teng experience. Decent HK street food, especially happy about the curry fish ball. Egg tart and Bolo bun also quite nice. Definitely recommend to visit if you’re around and wants to get authentic HK food :) Note, there may be a short queue if you visit around 3pm in the afternoon during weekends.

Was there around 3pm and was surprised there was a queue outside, but didn't wait long before we were given a table. Ordered quite a few small items to try as we merely wanted some desserts and snacks after main lunch. Some of the pastries were still pretty good and maintained the standard, the egg tart seems to have tasted even better than the last time I ate it. Ordered a char siew pie but they served us the ham and mushroom pie, it felt weird the moment we cut it open and it looked creamy inside. It took them about 10 mins before they came back with the correct item. And the butter polo bun, was not bad but hoped the slice of butter could be more generous. Ordered the beef hor fun as well was hoping to have something savoury but it was pretty dry and tasteless, didn't feel satisfied for the savoury part. I liked the French toast with red bean. It has to be one of the best French toast in Singapore. Will definitely be back for the French toast, and also not forgetting the milk tea makes me miss Hong Kong so much!

Egg tart was surprisingly the BEST I had in SG so far (my preference). The crust has layers and crispy, the sweetness of the egg was just nice, not too sweet. Had to say, we less appreciate the tofu tart, had one bite to try and that’s it. It’s not sweet nor have Any taste, the tart is cold. Can’t sync what’s its trying to deliver. Need hor fun was nice, have wok hey, except that it was a little bit too oily for us.

Found this HK cafe at the basement of Centrepoint and the buns looked really good. Wait staff were mainly elderly crew, so it’s nice to see they hire senior citizens. The Egg tart was nice, as was the pineapple (polo) bun! Ordered the pineapple bun meal which was Crusty and sweet, a perfect match with the savoury pork chop and cheese! The baked tomato pork chop was not as good as I thought. Tomato flavour was overpowering imo. The milk tea was good! I liked it even better than the Yin Yang.

A good start to the day means some delicious food ! . ? @honolulucafesg - The Centrepoint Orchard . This was Curry Beef Brisket with instant noodles and fried egg and a Spicy Prawn noodle with egg, plus 2 very big Pineapple Buns ? . The curry was ok, good curry flavour but not as fragrant as others we’ve had. However that Pineapple Bun was really good ??

Had dinner over the weekend at this shop. Pretty authentic HK tea shop delights served here. Ordered a fried rice, 2 milk tea and a vermicelli soup with chicken cutlet and eggs. The food was really tasty, especially the fried rice. Had wok hei and the rice was not very oily. The vegetables were also still crunchy. The chicken cutlet was also very good, had a great crispy texture and alluring aroma. They also serve their famous egg tarts too, so you can opt for lighter bites if you just want to have tea.
