DERMATOLOGY & SURGERY CLINIC (ORCHARD) PTE LTD - 290 Orchard Rd

Was treated for Alopecia Areata at Dermatology & Surgery Clinic (Paragon) with Dr Kok Wai Leong. The experience was very pleasant from appointment making to consultation and treatment. Dr Wai Leong was very patient when going through the condition and options of treatment with me. He clarified all questions which I had and allayed all my anxieties and stress, and prescribed a no frills treatment course for me. Thank you to Dr Wai Leong and team for making the whole experience a wonderful one for me!

Dr Uma was extremely professional and caring. Despite a busy day, the staff were very helpful and understanding. Special mention goes to Ella and Valerie. Their explanation on the procedures were lucid clear!

I have been at this clinic three times and each time the experience was absolutely splendid. Amazing staff, attentive and most professional! The staff, especially Hui Ling and Mei, are most caring and competent. And Dr Chen QiPing is simply great. Highly recommended and I will be coming back!

Nice and comforting waiting area. Dr Tay was very patient and professional in his treatment. Great service by the assistants/nurses. Special shout out to the assistant at the reception named Huiling who very efficiently helped expedite the necessary paperwork.

Accompanied my friend to see her dermatologist, Dr Sue Ann. I must say I’m impressed with her friendliness, caring and kind attitude. Despite the clinic was very busy, the counter staffs ( Aisyah and Valerie) were very cheerful and caring in explaining the procedure and the steps to taking the medications. I will definitely bring my daughter to see her.

I had an incredibly good experience with the team from Dermatology & Clinic from consult till surgery! Dr Sue Ann was incredibly knowledgeable and set me at ease the moment I walked into the room for my consultation. She set my my questions to rest, even got her finance team to clarify as much as I needed- the clinic staff also helped with applying for LOG (which I greatly appreciated) so I left the clinic feeling entirely assured. I had an equally fantastic experience during the day of my surgery. Dr Sue Ann and her assistant (unfortunately whose name I didn’t catch!) were highly skilled in patient care and made sure that I was kept comfortable though out the process which I was thankful for. I have to give her massive props as her skills really showed in the short duration of the surgery, and when she reduced the size of the incision as much as possible to prevent a larger scar. So thank you!!! An additional shoutout to Hui Ling who made paperwork on a Friday morning so much more enjoyable than it should have been ? thank you for going out of your way to meet my questions as well! I am entirely appreciative of the team and I’m glad I chose to have the procedures completed here. ❤️

Omg I wish I can give them 10 or even 100 stars because 5 stars is simply not enough for their impeccable service rendered!! This is my first time visiting this clinic and I’m extremely impressed with the service here. From the moment I stepped into the clinic, I was well taken care of and attended to promptly by the clinic assistants. Every clinical staff there were all so friendly and professional, it made me feel really at ease and assured despite this being my first visit. I have been to other dermatology clinics and I can very confidently say that this clinic provides the BEST customer service! Booking appointment is hassle free and fuss free as well. Other than their impressive customer service, I would like to especially mention my doctor Dr Sue-Ann Ho too. She is so friendly and easy to speak with that I had no pressure or anxiety expressing my concerns to her. She is extremely professional as well despite her easy going demeanour, explaining to me in full details about my condition and gave a breakdown on the options we can take. I can really feel and appreciate that she truly cares for her patients and wants the best outcome for their conditions. This is the first time I have ever met such a nice and caring doctor, I will definitely recommend her to my friends and family if they ever need to seek a consultation for any skin concerns. Other than the exceptional service I have experienced here, it’s also notable to mention that their clinic has a very beautiful interior and ambience as well, which made me feel more relaxed as I was waiting for my turn. Overall, the clinic and team members here are just too awesome that I really couldn’t help but want to leave them a good review!! From the start to end of my visit, the entire time there was such a great experience I have never had elsewhere before. Thank you so much to Dr Sue-Ann and the clinic assistants team! You guys really made my day right from the morning. Keep up the good work!!

Doctor - Dr Uma is absolutely lovely, professional and experienced, 10/10 experience. However, the admin staff are a complete, horrific nightmare (Valerie and Ella). Please ensure you have not just soft copies, but screenshots of all your referral, personal information and the FULL NAMES of your referring clinic and doctor, if not be prepared for a long and stressful wait while the administrative staff insist you call non-working offices / contact personnel on a weekend for their required information, while they take 5-7 business days to settle administrative details (appointment ended 1.08pm, by 1.45pm I was still assisting the administrative staff without having had lunch). Please also ensure that your appointment date and timing is double checked, I received 3 separate texts for 3 separate appointment timings, all in all an extremely stressful experience because of the administratively inept business staff. Update (2 July 2022): just needed to quickly collect a lab request form, and once again was ignored by Ella while her colleague Aisyah was busy processing the patient records before me, before quickly attending to me. Big thumbs up to Aisyah, and once more my previous horrific experience with Ella was re-affirmed.
