Plenty have written reviews of this famous Japanese grocery store that has all kinds of nice things to eat and buy. The photo below is one of those things I bought for the first time Wagyu beef cubes. Very easy to prepare just dear on a hot pan (better if you have a cast iron skillet) add some salt and better and your have awesome appetizers. Buy together with some sushi and sashimi and you can have a surf and turf meal. Don’t miss this one definitely a must but there’s. Don’t overcook!

There is a queue to go into this shop. Selection wise is still considered decent. Price is abit ex but i guess it’s the same throughout the rest of the don don donki. Overall good experience. You can bring your own bag as they will charge $0.10 for plastic bags.

A true Don Don Donki fan will definitely love with them coming over to Tampines. Located on level 2 of Tampines 1, this is rather an expected place to be at. Tampines 1 is where d hype is, for many years and we definitely love it here. Just to add, the location, although not favourable, since it is at level 2, is still at a great place. There is a reason why we are giving this place a 4 star and it could actually be better if certain layout/products are there. We have been to several of Don Don Donki places and this is slightly smaller than them. But its still a great place to go to. On top of that, the choices are rather limited. Maybe due to it being new and it is checking out the market of what the target audience want. Its just a 1 floor store unlike some other places, so do not expect d same as what u see in town ya. Its worth to check out the place but we are not that sure on how long it maybe here since Daiso is rather similar but has been here for a very long time. All in all, those who hasnt experience what Don Don Donki is all about, can drop by to see what its all about. Oya, when we visited in the morning, it wasnt even crowded like what others faced.. so maybe can consider morning timing to avoid d hassle of crowds... So ya , cheers!!!!

Visited Don Don Donki on second day of opening and managed to catch their mascot blue penguin donpen walking around to encourage shoppers to queue/ buy more items. Didn’t manage to enter due to extremely long queue. Hope to have a chance to enter next time and for this branch to have greater range of food bento and cooking household items.

Came here out of curiosity. Quite a long queue to enter the store, it had a wide range of Japanese products from meats, fish, grocery products, sushi, snanks and ready packed food - reasonably priced Nicely displayed and organised I didn't stay for long due to other appointments, next round will take my time to explore. Hehe... in the end I bought $30.00 worth of sushi, so delicious ?

Visited on opening day, store is big and the design is nice. The selection of products are pretty much the same as other Donki stores. I'm gonna give an extra point to them for trying to be eco saving by charging for plastic bags and encouraging people to reuse and bring their own bags ? So take note from 1 Nov onwards, there will be an extra 10 cents for each plastic bags issued. Overall, I'm happy that east side has many Donki stores hopefully they will expand in the north as well.

Great to have Donki at Tampines! It's located conveniently at Tampines One and has a wide variety of Japanese food and groceries. Some of the foods are cheaper than NTUC and it's definitely a great grocery shopping experience here. The sashimi was fresh and affordable. I highly recommend to get your japanese condiments here.

Quite disappointed with the variety and amount of snacks available. It’s pretty small inside as the kitchen took up a big space of the store. They have some selection of hot food and sashimi / sushi. First walk in will see the vegetables section then the raw food. Hope they bring in more food selection. And open up more cashier should greatly reduce the waiting time to pay.
