The line is always busy. No clear instructions regarding to passport renewal and the staffs show very bad attitude if you go there personally.

The China Embassy office at 80 Robinson Road seems very inefficient and serious time wasting of visitors who need their services. 35 people and waiting time more than 3 hours !! This gives a bad impression of their attitude and services. 1. Total waste of national resources- Money and Human resource. 2. No clear indication on the website on changes in operation timing. Make the trip to embassy just to find the gate and doors closed during their usual operating hours. 3. What's the use of hotline ? Called hotline from9-3 pm. No one pick up the call. 4. Embassy rented a place at the china Visa center at 80 Robinson Road, we cannot make appointments, you have to go there and queue for 3 hours. 5. Worse of the worse, the staff are so rude, as if they are entitled with the authority. So unhappy and authoritarian. This reflects poorly on China, unfortunately.

VISA Application for staying in mainland china at 80 Robison Road, #16-01/02/02A As previous reviews before me; for Chinese only; Application of VISA is open 9-11.30am ONLY 9-12pm, 3-4pm Collection ONLY I came at an awkward time of 2pm. Closed. The cleaner could only speak Chinese but was nice enough to tell me where and what times I should've come. Customer service was nice, don't know how the others got treated badly.

Went to China embassy today for the first time . Initially had worry as so many other negative comments , but my experience for the consulate staffs is great .hence they deserve the compliments A few tips to share : 1. get all documents ready , once all required documents are met , a queue is given to you , the next second I was called to submit over the counter already , amazing fast; 2.if u gonna use the self print service , don’t use the one unable to switch on one , for which I lost one dollar for the spoiled machine ; 3.the female receptionist is very down to earth , I saw her helping those not highly educated filling up the form ! 4. Although the mobile Phone is required to be off , but they are not enforcing the policy , hence you can enjoy some handy entertainments . Overall I would say they provide down to earth service which suits me well . The photo was marked for other ppl’s privacy !

Surprisingly the staff are very friendly and helpful, unlike what some other comments mentioned. The queue is always very long, but I don't think that can be helped

A solid fortress, superb high ceiling, magnificent granites, spacious, authentic yet modern design. I love it.

The Customer Service have no basic respect for people. I called the hotline twice and was dismissed rudely, the woman over the line actually said things like “stop wasting my time” and “I can’t magically make up a letter out of no where, go find someone else”. As a Singaporean, I’ve never heard anyone talk to me like that over the hotline, not once. So this is how the Chinese Embassy works, huh? I guess they really don’t mind representing their country with such aweful services. No embarrassment, no pride?

I need to help my parents renew their passports. The app was not very clear so we came to the embassy today. They refused to let us in and pointed us to some posts ok the wall. The guy didn’t want to address my questions. So sad.
