★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had 2 small bowls of dry wanton noodles and 1 small plate of ngoh hiang for dinner 29-Dec evening. Food didn't taste off (no taste at all in fact) and barely touched the fiery chilli, but the ngoh hiang was mushy.
Both of us ran toilet whole of today.
This and the poor service and lousy taste - definitely won't visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wonder how this is a franchise from the original from Dunman. The noodle here is too thick and undercooked. The noodle oil is too bland and the fried pork lard has started to smell rancid - this is a cash only stall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did a Grab order of a large sized portion from the Great World City branch of Eng's Wanton Mee because I thought it was going to taste like the East Coast original. But it does not. This dry yellow clump of horror with rigor mortis char siew slices showed up as my dinner. Even the dog did not want to help me finish it. I forced myself to eat one-third of it before I came to my senses and remembered that life is short, self-care is important and I would much rather go hungry than finish this slop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I felt like asking the cook here if he has tasted the Original Eng's Wanton char Siew noodle.
Only the chilli sauce is exactly the same & right and I'm not asking for anything to be exactly the same, this is too different.
The biggest failure is the noodle.
I hope someone from the main store comes down to audit this franchisee.
