โ โ โ โ โ It became a regular dining place because of the bullet train style of serving up our orders and he simply loves the tamago with mentaiko, it is a must eat for him. I fell in love with the crab yuzu chawanmushi with ikura on my first try, It is good for this price point. Don't think I will eat a standard chawanmushi next time ;) staff are generally nice and polite. Place is clean.

โ โ โ โ โ Don't get me wrong, I have been a fan of genki for years. However, in my recent visit when I accidentally included an order to cart and check it out. I realised that I ordered an additional salmon don which I didn't need. I immediately asked the waiter to cancel the additional salmon don in which the waiter replied, "oh orders cannot be cancelled", which explains the rating to reflect my disappointment in their inflexible system.

โ โ โ โ โ I used to dine at Genki Sushi at Tampines Mall basement in the late 90โsโฆ. That branch was big but for some reasons it closed & their presence slowly โovertookโ by another sushi chainโฆ
Noticed Genkiโs presence in the same mall again recently & was kind of excited :-)
To stay competitive and in line with technology, they also have their own app that allows advance reservation & free sign up of membershipโฆ. their prices are still economical & affordable, the concept is till conveying belt but they added more varieties.
Happy to see them making effort to ensure safe distancing measures are in place as well.
Enjoyed our first visit at this outlet & will definitely be back again!

โ โ โ โ โ Overall this branch of genki sushi is just ok and service needs improvement. The salmon sashimi looked like it wasn't fresh, although it tasted okay. Not sure what happened when the kitchen staff were slicing it, but it was not a clean cut and the fish meat was breaking apart when I picked it up. For the 4 seasonal daimanzoku sushi, the staff didn't tell us that 3 of the 4 were unavailable before we entered the restaurant. Was quite disappointed although the other items I ordered were quite nice.

โ โ โ โ โ Visited the outlet a few times and it had almost been a pleasant experience, except that they do miss orders from time to time or send to the wrong table (which was resolved quickly upon informing the staff)
Food quality is as usual, not too bad and still maintained level of freshness. Staff were also generally okay, just that i realise they tend to crowd around together near the entrance rather than splitting themselves around in different areas which makes it hard for us to call them unless they were seating new customers around our area.
Will still go back and hopefully the next few visits can earn them the last star if the above were improved.

Great queuing system and efficient serving of food via conveyor belts. Food were fresh, delicious and reasonably priced for its quality. My fav item will be Snow Crab Croquette which was crispy on the outside and packed generously with creamy & melt-in-the-mouth crab meat filling. ?
